  • RSR rank: WR.
Track limits are RSR: full use of the kerbs and run off areas is allowed. This is a pretty nice lap, not much room for improvement. Ricardo's previous WR was very strong, took a while to beat :-)
If there's any place that can be improved it's S2, not fantastic at turn 7 but it's almost impossible to get everything perfect at a track like this :-) Everything else is very good.

Solid lap, could you share your setup?

I love how you're just casually chucking out WR hotlaps left and right. How much did you practice for this one? (not counting the other 10k hours)

Thank you! This one took a little while, Ricardo Macieski's old WR was very good. Old WR was 1:40.699, after about an hour practicing I started getting low 1:40.7xx laps which was really frustrating -- usually with small mistakes in sector 2. I then couldn't make any progress after about another hour and did what I usually do in that situation: stop practicing that day and try again tomorrow, which usually helps remove small unhelpful muscle memory.
The next day I got this lap after about 20 minutes, so all in all maybe about 3 hours I guess. You can see the lap progression here: www.radiators-champ.com/RSRLiveTiming/index.php?page=laptime_improvement&trackId=2733&carId=2490&driverId=25662
In theory an absolutely perfect lap (with better turn 7/9) is probably about 1:40.45, but I'm happy with this for now at least :-)
