Any idea what make and model machine gun that is being used?
I think they are supposed to be MG-15's? The Germans did have a flak wagon for a machine gun AA mount that was horse drawn on a 2 wheeled one man horse drawn trailer. I'm not sure how much they were used as it's super rare in photographs and I've never seen one outside a museum.
@@mikebrase5161 That was my initial thought, too, but I'd say it looks more like a pair of MG 34s in a Zwillingssockel 36 AA Mount. I haven't seen an MG 08 or the 08/15 with circular cuts in the barrel shroud. But it's Hollywood, so who knows :)
@@ErnestLordGoring honestly dude, it's probably a Hollywood Franken Gun. I pulled out my books and started going over the different types the 08/15, 15, 17 and the 30. I don't see anything that comes close. I used to run a Military Museum and am a former reenactor. I've seen a lot of weird stuff in the last 50 years but I haven't seen that.
