This is really impressive and opens up a lot of possibilities. I’m sure your results would be different if you did this test in a busy downtown of a big city. What were you using to track how far back you were walking?
Hi Jason love the videos. Learned a lot about the DJI mic. I have another question if I may. I have my DJI mic hooked up to my osmo action 3 camera. I want to use this attached to my bronco 4x4 dashboard. When I received it I followed your tutorials to get it setup. I immediately attached it to the dashboard of the bronco and proceeded to go out to the area where we do our 4x4 activities. Along the way is a gravel road that has washboard surface. When I returned I checked out the video and while going down this washboard road my voice was stuttering so bad you couldn’t understand what I was saying. Is this a known issue? Do you have any recommendations.? I mean this is an action camera. People do crazy things with these. Thank you, Bill
Hi Bill, i don't have an osmo action 3 camera so don't really know - was the transmitter on the dashboard or on you? Maybe if the transmitter was on dashboard the vibrations would have made the noise?
Try making sure the cable audio cable is properly connected - update firmware to latest version - try the internal recording without the wireless receiver and see if the internally recording files also crackle - if the internal recorded files also crackle then it could be a defective unit

I was using a fitness tracker app with GPS for the distance tracking. :) :)

Great review
Thanks so much! I'll be doing a more in depth review when used it a bit more and what I like and don't like so stay tuned :)
How is this possible? I go 10 metres and it's crackling? Maybe it's better with a camera than an iPhone?
I'm about to take mine back. Very unsatisfied.
Even if I'm facing the camera at 20 M it still crackles.
