Something I love about product, probably more than OOEPUI, is the lyricism and just general meaning of the songs. As another transperson, SOPHIE’s music really speaks to me. But hearing your analysis of the songs having a different experience was really interesting. In particular Hard, Elle, and L.O.V.E. Hard to me was always both a nod at how hard it is to exist as a transfeminine person, having to put up your hair, wear the heels. But it also sorta serves as an acceptance of kink and sexuality as a transperson (hence the feminine voice saying “I just get so hard”), but I really enjoyed your generalization to women in general. As with Elle I loved when you said it feels like you’re taking off a mask and putting it back on. Elle in French means she and, to me, was always a song about struggling to coming to terms with being a woman. Realizing you enjoy taking off the mask, but struggling with feeling like you CAN’T take it off for fear of what people will think. As for L.O.V.E., this song (on top of your brilliant analysis of it) always felt to me both like a description of the pain of love you have for someone else and for yourself. Love is difficult, even the best relationships will have their struggles and breakdowns, and not all love ends in love. As for self love I kinda relate it back to my perspective as a transfeminine person. You struggle not realizing why you’re suffering, hating yourself and not realizing why. And then you realize why, and you find yourself, and it is beautiful. But then you have to struggle internally against the binds of a society which conditioned you to meet yourself with abjection. I absolutely loved this video and it was great seeing you react to one of my favorite works, you’re absolutely amazing Fern and keep doing what you’re doing. Much love 💙💗🤍💗💙
It was unpleasant for me the first time but i kept coming back to it for some reason, and now i love the buzzy sound at first with its heavy base. And made me think Maybe sophie wanted us to take our time (hence spelling love) with the things we are repulsed by so we might find love for them
Omg guys I hated L.O.V.E and it's been a while since I've heard it. I'm watching this video for the first time and I'm gonna find if I'm gonna like it or not.
I loved your analysis of "Product", as a new fan im very sad that our dear SOPHIE passed away and could never release anything, but im very excited for the posthumous album this 27 dec. you should listen to some random unreleased SOPHIE songs like "BURN RUBBER", "KITTY CAT", "Take me to dubai", "Makeover" (feat. Hyd), "GOOD THING GOING ON", "SOMEBODY LIKE YOU" and "Itll never happen" or "Baby bubbles" (my little chemical) both feat. Hyd. New subscriber!!! 😁
There is something about SOPHIE's music that hits that spot of the brain ... I don't really know what it is but it makes me feel elevated and I want to make music like her and be like her when I grow up 💜💖💕
I'm not going to lie. I listened to Bipp and It's Okay To Cry A LOT after Sophie's passing. Bipp just... I felt like Sophie was actually saying she knows how to make me feel better and I love that feeling.
I friggin LOVE the way your body vibes to the music!!! It's such spacey, loving, moving music and you're body is reacting to it. SOPHIE really just is that artist RIP
WHAT U SAID ABT "HARD" MAKES SO MUCH SENSE TO ME. OMG WHAT U SAID REMINDS ME OF THE POPPY ALBUM CALLED "AM I A GIRL" WHICH HAS A LOT TO DO WITH GENDER ROLES AND HOW THEY PLAY INTO US AS HUMANS. OMG I LOVE HOW U ARTICULATE UR STATEMENTS
I thought it was cool how you said, "the price of a coffee cup each month," because that really put it into perspective how cheap it honestly is. Your thoughts about music have been worth much more than a cups of coffee to me, so when I am financially independent I think I will become a patron! Thank you for doing what you do, your work is invaluable. :)
L.O.V.E. Is such a mind frick. I’ve been waiting to see you react to it. Absolutely beautiful but a nightmare at the same time. I still remember hearing that song for the first time.
Hey, I commented this some where else but I highly recommend you listen to black dresses! They combine so many different genres in their music and it is really interesting. I won’t recommend listening to their first album ‘WASTEISOLATION’ as it really explicitly delves into abuse. However their later albums are relatively less explicit in that part. They just released ‘FORGET YOUR OWN FACE’ this week However I recommend listening to ‘PEACEFUL AS HELL’ first! Hope you enjoy, I love your reactions!
And if she liked black dresses, then she might like backxwash! I don't know what's with transfemme artists doing the loudest noises but I'm here for it.
Sophie ❤️ i only got into her music after her passing and it absolutely crushes me that she’s gone. I hope that wherever she is, she’s living her immaterial and amazing life. she deserves it
Your story at the beginning was really sweet and then hearing JLWNSGB it reminded me of you and the story of the history with your child’s father. It was a beautiful moment of the video coming full circle. Not sure if you are still together and that’s not my business but had to share how the song made me feel. Your love of Sophie is so beautiful. I have so much admiration for her contribution to the world and to me specifically. She changed how I viewed music, art, culture, and my own relationship with gender. I love getting to see you grow that bond with her music❤️
love getting to know u more from that intro, never apology for being urself on these, impatient people know how to skip, the rest of us, appreciate the lore.
I love your interpretation on this album!! You should react to BURN RUBBER and KITTY KAT, they’re both unrealized songs by SOPHIE both are on RUclips and I feel like both of them are gems that you will enjoy.
Wow i felt the exact way about L.O.V.E when i first heard it. Love how it shows both "symptoms" of beeing in love, both sides. How it can be so dark and even kind of deafening like the buzzing part but also the fact that its worth waiting for it to end to get into the euphoric ,sweet part of beeing in love
Poppy, St. Vinny n SOPHIE... you hit all the good ones c: I dunno how recommended it's been but the album GFOTYBUCKS by GFOTY is a swell one! GFOTY did some vocals on SOPHIE tracks. She's also from the PC music label, n apart of that 100 Gecs remix album. She's farfetched but she's just so ridiculous and funny and I'm curious on what you'd think!
Feerrrrnnnn I LIED! ‘Ham chunks n wine’, and her other short ep ‘if you think I’m a bitch you should meet GFOTY’ are probably better. GFOTYBUCKS is sort of like a long winded collection of little sound adventures. Both these shorts ones are more full tracks. They may be a better starting point!

It's so cool to see other people enjoying sophie... I think you would really like her non-stop remix album for oil of every pearl's un-insides! It's pretty long but she has the most creative remixes I've ever listened to. She completely reimagines every song in multiple ways
Sophie wrote Lemonade about piss play fyi. Queen shit! She used to open her sets, way back in 2016, with L.O.V.E. to intentionally hurt people lmao. I remember the first time I heard that song, it was on very loud speakers/amplifiers and huge subwoofers and lemme tell you, it was a total facemelter. I was shook deep to my core, you can literally feel the ground shaking. I then also told myself , I never wanted to hear it again. As time went by, I discovered more artists in the bubblegum bass (that, apparently, was the original more or less form of hyperpop) genre. Because of that, I got really used to loud, harsh, abrasive, experimental sounds and now, L.O.V.E. is basically a walk in the park for me. I realized that It's not really just buzzing noises, you can actually hear textures behind the many layers of it.
Hi there. I just discovered your channel and have subscribed to you. Loved this video and your editing throughout your video, plus your reactions to Sophie's album. I agreed with what you said through-out, as I was saying pretty much the same things as you reacted to it! Lol :-) I loved Sophie's production skills on this album. Anyway I'll watch more of your videos now I know about your channel. Love your happy positive energy. I'll add you on insta under my recording name. ;-) ❤💚💙💜💛
You HAVE to check out Flume's remix of "Is it cold in the Water" by Sophie. There is a really trippy visualizer that goes with it. The whole album is really good especially while watching the visualizer.
Omg I’m so excited to watch!!! I’ve been hoping you’d do this one. Idk why but I’ve been listening to it A LOT lately. Can’t wait to see what you think of L.O.V.E. 🙃
I love you story about you with your partner, I understand about living separately because it stress me out live with people that I know I could make them feel bad when I'm not feeling good with my mental issues
I’ve never seen anyone else say this but MSMSMSM always make me think of bees? Like I’ve always taken the song title as a visual representation of the sort of zigzaggy movement pattern of bees and the song starts off sounding like a swarm of bees to me? And the predominant melody sounds like frantic bee movements and zipping around, until it stops and breaks down…and then it sounds like a funeral dirge to me? Like a bee funeral as you hear the swarm at large swelling in the background, until they swallow you back up and you get right back into the frenzied feeling of it all. Idk it’s always made me think of the sort of “rat race” of being caught up in bullshit daily life and being stuck in a crappy career, working away like a good worker bee - and staying in that until you inevitably perish. And people might be sad for a minute but then the bullshit keeps carrying on and there’s always someone else to replace you in the sort of system that so many people exist in? Almost like a cautionary tale. Idk that probably says more about me than it does about the song but 🤷🏻♂️😂

Speaking of Uffie... Charli made a song with Uffie on her Number 1 Angel mixtape (the tape she released a few months before Pop2). This may be controversial, but I return to Number 1 Angel's best moments more than I do Pop2's.
At some point i told myself "Where do those vocals come from, Are they in original version or im missing something?" Then i realized were you... I loved those notes.
if you ever get some time i'd love it if you reacted to Shawn wasabi, it's different than hyperpop but it's somewhat similar, I love that artist so much and I think you might enjoy em !
I don't know if this was intentional but between the way your hair is styled, the choice of makeup and the face you're making, you kinda look like her in the thumbnail!

For some reason this line hits so hard. The energy, the sentiment, the overt sarcasm, all of it in one line bundled up. Fucking love it.
Fun fact: L.O.V.E shaked the ground at Sophie’s DJ sets whenever she played it! (Rest in power Sophie ❤)

At some point i told myself "Where do those vocals come from, Are they in original version or im missing something?" Then i realized were you... I loved those notes.
Please react to the NOTHING MORE TO SAY/EEEHHH Single!
you should react to SOPHIES remix album
34:12 i love this part
the vocals on vyzee are done by an artist called Raffy! :)
gurl i can’t wait
also fun fact "msmsmsm" was a song that shows the sounds sophie was planning to go on her product era. and it has no right pronunciation
Commercial music but like, an art form.
pls listen to the oil remix album!! make sure you let the songs transition into each other
Love this!!! 😁❣
I like it it's only awesome and funny
bipp so meaningful
The intro and outro of bipp were weird I’ve never heard that version before
if you ever get some time i'd love it if you reacted to Shawn wasabi, it's different than hyperpop but it's somewhat similar, I love that artist so much and I think you might enjoy em !
you mean Future Bass?
I don't know if this was intentional but between the way your hair is styled, the choice of makeup and the face you're making, you kinda look like her in the thumbnail!
Really wasn’t intentional but I love that so much ! X
