Thank you to everyone that has come over from my main channel, it always felt wrong not showing you lot more real time stuff as this project has captured the furze audiance like no other, so subscribe as the next video wont be far away. Edit: New Mining tee's are getting down in stock so grab one while you can Thanks for coming over to the 2nd channel, new update video wont be to far away so subscribe for more regular tunnel content. Also New phase 2 mining Tee's are getting low so grab one while you can www.colinfurzeshop.com
Motivated to watch what goes on .. would love more real world raw content to watch on this project though my gf is worried ill start digging haha
Whats your stance on livestreaming a few times?
Thank you Colin! I’ve missed your vids about the tunnel
The tunnel is my whole reason for loving your channel
Woo!! Phase 2!
5:37 If only there were a hat you could wear to protect yourself from falling debris, something with a hard shell to stop you getting clobbered. We could call it a hardhat and sell them to construction companies and secret, tunnel mining dwarves everywhere. We'd make a fortune 😂
Safety squint's brah .👍
Legit he should be selling colin furze mining Co hard hats
That would be a interesting addition to the the merchshop.😂
Main problem is he wasn't wearing his safety tie what a silly decision
Lol ye, I'd never actually thought about it until this video when I saw that injury but I immediately thought he was missing a hardhat.
As a tunnelling engineer, the amount of safety violations here are incredible. Colin, please wear a hard hat and take care. These safety measures are written in blood. Aside from that, I love the content and it's really fun to watch.
He's got his safety tie and safety squints.
Jokes aside, Colin is well aware of the safety implications of everything he is doing. He takes calculated risks, but he is at least aware of what he is risking.
There is no point in telling him he isn't being as safe as he could be because he already knows that and has accepted it.
@@0xRy4nWearing a hard hat really would not hurt. Its mad to not wear one. And a really bad example. A few euros and a tiny bit of uncomfort could eliminate alot of risk.
@@0xRy4n Calculated risks? what benefit is there from not wearing a hard hat when digging out stone above you?
Most likely wears a hard hat off screen, just a hard hat looks bad on camera thats all
@@_Vark_he could have said that and his ear would have been covered. I doubt it
The second rule of Minecraft is, never dig straight up!
Absolutely love the slightly more relaxed production quality, behind the scenes feel! I subscribed so fast!
What’s the first rule?
@@Iwatchmuchvideo Google it. :)

Good
Nice
No one, but Colin could make a tunnel digging video so damn entertaining. He's done it again. These are some of my favorite videos.
Don’t forget making a channel, and 49min later it’s at 42k subs
Cody's Lab did, but youtube nuked his channel because he used explosives to excavate.
me to eve rewatch the old ones was long ago i watched the bunker video
yea
@@4louisMC 2 hours now, and he is at 85.9k..... might as well call it 86k.
Something that I find as equally impressive as the scope & execution of this entire project is - the strength of those bucket handles! How have they not broken while winching up??
zzz
zzz
He's shown at least one that has broken
ok
I definitely would like to know what brand of buckets those are. I feel like the ones I buy are always breaking
This project is like every kids dream! Keep doing these things Furze! You’re mad, but in the best possible way! ❤
Colin is definitely surviving the zombie apocalypse
True
He might be causing it, too.
Digging too deep, disturbing evil things!
Assuming he survives the digging
Maybe, but on the other hand, he does take a lot of unnecessary risks. Like not wearing a helmet or a safety tie
@@robertrietmeijer1249true. But he has a great safety squint.
All these years and Colin still has the drive and work ethic to do endless heavy labor for our enjoyment.
He makes a fortune from us watching so why not I guess!
@@sambuckeridge7020 it's still a lot of work
I mean why wouldn't he? He's had like a year off from doing the tunnel lol and he must get insane amounts of money from his channels. I imagine he does a heck of a lot less heavy labor than actual heavy labor jobs, and earns a lot more.
He has the work ethic alright, but I fear the drive'll be tumbling down any minute now...
@@00blaat00 (Thunderous applause!)
I would honestly love to hear you talk more about the planning and thought process! I find this fascinating!
So pleased to have updates on this. It is the best project. Love it.
Colin, surely this tunnel channel needs to be sponsored by the channel tunnel. Have Eurostar reached out yet?
Subscribed. Instantly.
Nah, they use boring machines 🥱😴
bit boring though aint they@@uthikoloshe
@@uthikoloshe TBMs are not boring, they are BORE-ING
Think he is to efficient for them
or they are his bitterest rivals
stay safe colin, we need you!
For the love of God, wear a helmet!
Stay safe?
After everything he's done in all his videos?
I don't think he knows the meaning of the word.😂
Lincolnshire people have always been working this unsafely dude, as "safe" is not in their vocabulary, just look at their perfectly-straight roads for more info.
@@Stormwern He's got his safety tie on!
He'll be fine! 😂
What happened?!
I cannot wait to see this car out of the floor videos , loved the tunnel vids. You are just unbelievable with these amazing ideas which is exactly what every man wants to see, doo and have . Great !!
Colin, your videos are legendary! I can't get enough of them! Especially these mining videos! My eyes light up when i see a new upload from you!!
After taking a break from all this im sure its rough to start again, but we REALLY appreciate this build. This is literally the king of ideas a kid could want to do as an adult. Cheers from the US!
Waffle on, Colin, it is interesting listening to the thought process & dangers that you face doing this awesome project. This is the 'in depth' channel and there is never "too much Furze".
Honestly would love another (possibly longer) un-edited/live stream of just more digging. There is something super satisfying watching/listening to the rocks fall.
Love the content Colin. So missed your tunnel videos, can't wait for more.
Colin is so entertaining to watch, he can make dirt falling look fun
Colin must be in posession of the most public "secret" tunnel.
I mean unless you know where his house is it is kinda secret I guess
Just saw the first ep. of the tunnel and I'm hooked!! Subscribed to both your channels! Can't wait for more tunnel content! So cool!!🤘🏼
If there’s one thing the world will never have enough of, its the outrageous. Keep it up.
This tunnel series is honestly one of my favorite things to watch, ever. I could watch this project forever and not complain once. I can only imagine how much fun it would be to actually be doing it! Ro be able to move about one's property unseen is a dream. It's like a basement that never ends. The ultimate hide and go seek house!
It's an "I can't possibly move ever again" project.
Or, the for sale sign would show 6 x the market value in relation to surrounding homes.
I seriously do not know how this is so interesting, where is the Netflix series on this?
@@Trevorus1Netflix is dead, him making the show himself is better
Its Colins editing skills that make it intresting.@@Trevorus1
This is only one video you damn NPC! Get back to work
if only there was something that protected you from falling objects, maybe like a hat made of some hard material
love you Colin! there's no such thing as too much ColinFurze
Yessssss! Keep up the good work mate, love the tunnel updates
Loooooook at all the digging you saved your back this is the Best channel that I’ve ever found and you have a Great personality Keep up the great work I REALLY DIG YOU 😜👍
My best mate Paul turned me onto you, he loved your silly childlike enthusiasm for the love of building stuff, unfortunately he’s no longer with us but I get a real comfort watching you do your thang! Paul would have loved this channel, keep doing what you do, absolutely fantastic inspiration.
Hello Mr. Kenny how are you doing 😊
The most 'unsecret' secret tunnel ever LOL - loving every minute of it!
ok
ok
Just make sure you keep it secret from the council.
So glad this is back! Love the tunnel!!!
Been watching u since I was around 5-6 with my dad now I’m now 14 and have been watching every video u have posted for the last 8 years excited for the project to continue ❤
When I was younger I always dreamed of doing something very similar to this when I finally bought a home, 30 years of life and two kids later I realize that it's never happening 😂....so thank you Collin for letting me live out my childhood dream through your videos you are truly an inspiration good sir!!!
mate me too, same sentiment.
Yes, Hogan Heroes was my favorite show and 2 of us dug down maybe 3 feet in an old shed.
Exactly 💯❤
Never say never! The children yearn for the mines.
Imagine what you could have achieved without kids! Condolences
It is really frightning to see the the house and garage foundation from its bottom. I hope nothing bad happens from this.
Go on Colin wear a helmet and stay safe.
I hope we see a video of him rearranging all of the utilities and shoring up those foundations.
A helmet will do nothing in a collapse lol
C'mon he has the safety tie. Should be alright.
@@Jack-cu7rlhe already got bashed and bloody from falling debris. just cause it won't help in the worst case doesn't mean it wouldn't help in every other one.
Should be fine, as he's only exposed a small corner of each, and the space around and under them will be backfilled and set in concrete soon enough. The bigger danger would be damage to his house or garage from that concrete interfering with the normal expansion and contraction of the soil underneath. Luckily, he's not digging deep enough to hit anything like bedrock, so as long as the concrete itself is bedded into clay and rock soil like everything else is, should be a negligible difference.
Epic as always Mr Furze. Thankyou ❤
Love your confidence, engineering and imagination! a man after my own heart ! keep going bro !
I’d luv to see a video from Colin’s wife/partner’s perspective on his projects . Sort of like an excited school kid telling his parents of his activities with the parent not really paying much attention ….
His poor, long suffering other half 😉😆
That woman is a living saint, putting up with his never ending crazy schemes ! 🙂
"yes dear yes whatever"
_Three months later_
"Colin? COLIN! WHY has the shrubbery next door caught fire? What? What tunnel? *_COLIN!"_*
lol it's funny I just asked same question under his other new video on main channel
Brilliant just hilariously brilliant
More ColinFurze is always a win. Your content is unmatched. Keep it up!
Definitely unmatched! There may be a bit of time between projects but it's definitely worth it. I can't wait for more furze! Woohoo!
this is so cool. just drifted into your videos and watched the whole 2h, now im here.. :D
Love these videos! I hope the health and safety team are enjoying their holidays...
The work, The engineering, and just the pure fun with friends doing something epic is why I’m here. So thank you sir for the greatness!!
It’s a bodge
a channel dedicated to this project is definitely the way to go colin!!!
Loving the new channel m8 and I'm instantly subscribed, can't wait to see the project come along. 😊
I only watch tunnel videos so this channel is actually perfect for me! First time I’ve ever subscribed! 😮❤
You know, at this point, I'm actually a little surprised that you haven't made a mini tunnel boring machine. That would be a fun build and challenge.
When you get the James Bond style car lift you should get the hacksmith to bring over their James Bond car and do a whole shoot with it
That’d be rather hard, considering they (and their car) are on a different continent.
Didn't furze also make a bond car?
@@JackBarlowStudios Getting the Hacksmith go come wouldn't be too hard, just a plane ticket and a very interesting conversation with the customs agent 😆 The car thought, yeah, that would be a bit of an ask.
Love the new longer style video
I can't wait to see where this goes. LOVE THIS STUFF
I'm surprised that after phase 1 and the dangerous bit of phase 2 Colin still hasn't made a custom mining hat. Both for light and saftey
I'm amazed at how you continue to find the motivation to keep going through this tedious and back-breaking work. We love you for it mate. Stay safe.
You're surprised he's motivated to make a fortune on RUclips? Yeah me too.
There are many people all around the world doing similar work to this for a lot less & they still get up in the morning everyday and go to work for 8-12+ hours only to do it all over again, years on end.
@@henryantrim88Always a comment like yours lol, are you too dull to recognize this man could literally do anything else and make millions?
Yet hes doing this tedious ass work
If I could quit my job and start digging tunnels to secret bunkers under my backyard I would start today.
You make it sound so easy. If only life was that simple. Digging something underground by hand is not exactly easy money really
awesome mate, can't get enough tunnel content. living legend bro, an absolute living legend!
Loving this new channel 👌
Lovely to see the tunnel continued!
I would like to suggest the wearing of helmets when mining!
This video could have been an hour long and i would have watched it 🎉 Its interesting watching the progress. Looking forward to the next
Hear Here, 1 hour long videos with minimal editing together and "slow motion time-lapses" would be great!
I never look at how long his videos are. I just hit play and enjoy
Great Video Colin Furze!!!! I am SO Glad That I discovered your secret second channel!!!!
Keep It up!!!!
You Are Making Great Proggress.
So happy this is back, keep up tunnelling 💪
I am impressed that those plastic buckets have held up and are still in use.
me too... I have the same in my house renovation and the handles keep breaking! Wouldn't want to be wincing them up with 40 - 50kg weight in them
iirc there's been at least one casualty, some of them have probably been replaced over time just from how much wear and tear they've been put through, but they're doing *astonishingly well* yeah.
He's definitely buying new ones as the project goes on. At 3:20, you can see a yellow bucket that still has the paper label intact on the inside of it, which I'd imagine wouldn't survive for more than a couple loads of rock. But Colin's definitely getting his money's worth with them as I've seen similar plastic buckets only cost like $10 each.
@@CrazySteve113 Good point, I never noticed that
I could quite honestly watch Colin's brain take the scenic route to an outro all day everyday. It's a fountain of content.
Loving more tunnel vids!
Very satisfying watching that lot come down!
Hello Mr. Cliff how are you doing 😊
Happy to have the tunnel back Collin
I hope you didn't get to hurt! I would always recommend proper PPE when working in dangerous environments. Either way stay safe Colin!
Yes, he’s not wearing the health &Safety tie!
PPE? Are you new here? 😅
Ppe that will slow him down and restrict his movement and vision when he needs to run from a few tonnes worth of rubble coming from him😂😂😂🥰
Weesht, Stop giving Colin daft ideas.
Love this stuff. The structural engineer in me gets PTSD from it though, hopefully you don't undermine the front corner of your house. Stay safe, maybe consider a hard hat! ☘
+1 on the hard hat - my reaction exactly
at least he has a safety tie though :D
just realised hes wearing the new merch so no safety tie...what is the man doing, risking his life!
Colin is safer than any loser in a hard hat because he is always learning through risk. His level of expertise is beyond the pliebs. He knows exactly what he is capable of and the nature of the material he works with.
@@LitheInLitotes good for him ✌️
He literally got hit something in the head this video, so I think your point is moot @@LitheInLitotes
oh damn !
this content is youtube in every way !! thx colin !!
Its about time cant wait until the next video
I hope all go's well when diging this tunnel. and take as much time as you need to make it perfect
Take as much time as he needs? Dude it’s been three years already.
I can't wait to see where this goes. This is such a wild project and I think it's every man's dream to do something like this.
Great watch, an absolute epic - I recall the days when I dug my inspection pit & that was 6M by 1.2M (full height) - your tunnel is something else! Good luck with the rest of the work, get a hard hat on! 👷🏻♂️
Just come across your channel.. bet the council love you!
Class mate
love the more chill, more waffling, less edited version of Colin. Looking forward to more tunnel videos.
Colin is not the only one digging. I, too, digg those videos.
There can never be too much Colin
Just realised this underground tunnel and bunker will probably be around longer than colin or any one else ...its almost like its own time capsule for someone to discover in the future imagine buying that house and finding that underneath be a right treat ... keep safe colin
Is everyone else as happy and excited as me? Now we have a new Colin Furze tunnel series! Thanks Colin!
Didn't expect phase 2 to be the front! seems to me like its a much bigger project than going to the bunker, excited to see how it goes though.
Actually just realised if youre doing the drive you can most likely quickly clear it out from above!
Also I don’t know how accurate his diagrams are but the segment to the bunker seems significantly longer than the other two?
@@bergamtaye but because it’s in his garden he can dig it out from above and back fill rather than actually tunnelling 👍🏻
@@relaxreflect5888 Even even barring that it does not involve moving the gas, electrical and water lines (they look in the right in the way to me) and installing an elevator big enough for a car with a turntable to switch his and his wife's out.
Mr. Furze, thanks for doing these projects. I hope that they are bringing you income while showing us your hard work.
wow, i havent been on this channel for years! still making good content with your fav. music i assume. Cheers you mad lad!
I think its worth mentioning that in war when tunneling/counter-tunneling is used they have to do this same thing but EXTREMLY quietly. Even this isn't quiet enough to stop another tunnel from calculating your position.
I'm happy to see the smaller videos that actually show the engineering behind the tunnel!
Hello 👋
you are so great ! love your videos. Keep on !
This is going to funn ceap diggin sir looking forward to the next video
All that digging without so much as a safety tie! Sketchy indeed 😂. Awesome stuff as always Colin
And that's how he got hurt!
This is great! It helps keep your main channel more focused and concise but for us interested we get more Colin! And it’s probably easier for you to edit too 😊
Colon Furze for president 🙌
Hey Colin, if you haven't thought of it, I recommend that secret car port be dug deeper than the tunnels - it'll give you room to work, but also give you room for bigger vehicles in the future (or for the next home owners if you sell)
They would be house owners, it would have be sold as a tunnel with a house.
I would think he would make it deeper anyway .. he wants a turntable or sliding platform under there for the car
Plus, for a deep hole like that, you'll want a sump for rainwater leakage that happens to get past the seals
I'd be super interested on a cost analysis of the tunnel.
@@Problimatic that much huh?
I thought he had added this to one of the previous videos on the main channel... Maybe when he got to the end of phase 1... He listed out all of the metals costs and concrete work. I could be misremembering though.
@@jacobbell5949no I don’t think you are, unless a mandala effect is in play I also remember him doing that
@@jacobbell5949 you're probably right, and if not, at least I will enjoy rewatching lol
@@Kryptic95823 I was half right... He lists the amount of materials but not the cost. If you were fully invested I'm sure you could get some average costs and do the math.

By far the best series to watch. Great too see it starting up again
First of all; yay! More tunnel content!
Secondly, Colin, please wear a hard hat, we don't want that tunnel to be your grave.
