I love how his tip can also be applied to all aspects of life. Wise man🙏🏼 Thank you for this awesome video!
Man I can’t believe reef builders is still at 55k subscribers. Jake’s contents deserve way more than this. Keep up the good work!
I agree. I am surprised it is not 4 times as many, at least. He will get there.
Agreed
Great topics but the presentation is lacking. I can’t put my finger on it but something is off on most of the videos.

I absolutely love the fish selection. Small schools provide visual balance rather than the typical “here is a selection of a bunch different vibrant tang individuals plus a couple clowns.”
That's exactly an idea behind my fish selection!
I have no idea how somebody could put a thumbs down must be something very specific and should I consider exactly why. That is one of the most beautiful setups I've seen in a long time. Thank you Jake and Yoshi.
There will always be haters
The beautiful tanks for sure remember you got a lot of jealous people out there and just because of that day will give it a thumbs down
Probably because they were looking for build videos.
Beautiful tank! Love the aquascape! Thanks for sharing Jake!
Superb setup, and outstanding corals and fish, all in all, a beautiful cotton candy eye catching reef 💗 from Canada 🇨🇦
This display is an absolute feast for the eyes. Visual gluttony. Thank you Jake for putting this together. Can’t wait to watch the dive footage.
Congratulations Yoshi, you’re certainly an Acropora pro! 🙌
I'm gonna need the update of this tank next year! Amazing tank and amazing video!
Beautiful tank, amazing selection Yoshi. Thanks again Jake for another great vid 👍👍👍
I’m gonna try and replicate this in my own way on my next build beautiful motivation!
Awesome tank/setup! Will be saving this video for future reference for sure.
That hole setup 😍. Keep doing what you do and a big bravo! Really nice HomeReef.
Awesome setup. I've saved this video for future references and will sure follow every step.
That was the most exquisite reef tant I had seen so far. Nice job!
That tank is simply stunning!
This is an amazing tank. 10/10 awesome work, thanks for showing!
Beautiful and most unique! Thank you!
I only caught the 2nd half of the live premiere so I am rewatching it again. Beautiful tank. I love your tank tours.
Thanks! I am not a big fan of listening to my own voice though
Awesome tank. Definitely an inspiration. Thanks for the vid.
Wow... Bravo Bravo! What a find. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I need to do some reading on lifted aquascapes. I hadn't heard of that before. Neat!
Wow.. That's one beautiful tank
Most gorgeous tank I've seen! Now I want to include SPS corals in my tank.
Brilliant tank. Mine is 10 months and nowhere near as good as that. Very inspiring.
Man love the group of Hammer coral of different color .. looks like a single colony
That was absolutely amazing!!
I am totally speechless with the mastery that is the end result with this tank!
watched many videos and this is my favorite reef tank by far. Arigatou gozaimasu
Japanese accent mixed with Australian accent, pretty dope
Ah yes the good ol Austrapanese accent
@@blackbeardAquatics20:39 “really noice”😄
Absolute beaut tank Yoshi! Well done!
Super fantastic saltwater aquarium I wish my tank some days looking like that..
Absolutely stunning!!!! Fabulous
Well done Yoshi, beautiful tank, excellent video.
Thanks Mario!
What a stunning tank. Wow!
Stunning Tank, very inspiring
This is one of the few sps reefs that ive seen that just make me go in awe
It takes a lot of learning but I still fail every now and then.....spend the time with corals and grow with coral.
Exactly the way I want it, Great work!
Well done both of you. 👍
Beautiful tank and livestock!
Stunning tank mate, I love the moment you have with 2 gyres, I’m using 2 gyres in my mixed reef tank and would love to see your programme or even a copy if this is possible.
Magnifique, BRAVO !!! 👏👏👏
Absolutely fantastic.👍
FINtastic! 💙🐠
Stunning tank!
Almost 🎛📝scientific approach reflected on the qualify of the display👍
Give inspiration to beginners like 👶🐟myself.
I love your video thank you.

Still a young tank and stay tuned for future update!
@@Getting_lost_in_japan yes sr thank you!!🤙🤙🤙🤗
This video inspired me to dismantle my reef and build and elevated aqua scape. Thank you
Wonderful tank
Wow,now thats a stunner!
Any chance of an update on this amazing tank? I often come back and watch this video as I aspire to get my tank looking this good
Great video. Can't believe the tank is not even a year old.
Very nice setup
Beautiful!
woah, i live in houston where the neptunian cube tanks are made. I buy corals from owner of the company.... thats crazy his tank is in Australia!!!!
awesome aquarium, thank for share
I definitely prefer sps illuminated with t5, or a hybrid of LED and t5
How you fix the corals like this? Have you picture from the steps since the beginning ?
Very nice!
Wow. Just wow.
Nice Reef tank. do you have a Foto / video from Nov. 2018 when you start de Tank, than we all can see how is was growing in only 10 month with the maxspect light.
This article has some old photos including just the rock work.

Wow! What an inspiring reef. I really hope to have a very open & lifted reef like this. How do you achieve multiple strains of hammers grouped like that? Do you just set colonies next to each other & they just grow into a bouquet like that?
there are 5 hammers together. two of them needed gluing but others are placed in the rock crevices.
Any pictures of just the rock structure without coral? Would love to see what that looked like. Such a beautiful tank!
I do have the photo of rockwork only. Pm me on FB.
Check it out here

Hello. Can you help me find that float valve please?
One look at the tank: Love at first sight!
One look beneath it: Love hurts!
Jake- a handful of time recently I have heard you advocate for way less frozen food and more dry. Forgive me if you have already done this but I would love to hear your full justification for this. Do you think you might be able to do a video on the topic soon. Fish nutrition has always fascinated me. There have been threads on R2R lately advocating feeding fresh mollusks and shellfish directly from the ocean as it natural increase fish immunity by exposing them to the various “current” pathogens that are represented in that slice of ocean. Then, like yourself, there is a monitory that think we should rely primarily on pellets and flakes for our mainstays. Personally I have used for some time New life spectrum and Dr. Bassleers line with Some frozen LRS and sponge/urchin preparations for my angels and triggers. Love you work!!
What a beautiful tank! What makes it even better for me is that my new tank ive got sitting empty for now is almost the same dimensions, and I have the same light and the same gyres. It gives me hope lol.
Id love to see a pic of that rock scape with no coral though, such a masterpiece!
Here you go mate!

@@Getting_lost_in_japan Awesome, thanks!
Beautiful
Maxspect
Can I ask what food are you feeding for SPS corals? Thank you
Beautiful tank! I love the aqua scaping. I really like the gravity fed auto top off, definitely considering it for my tank, it would also give me more room under my tank. What is the water change schedule and choice of salt mix?
Hi Michael, thanks for watching the video!
I don't do regular water change other than vacuuming substrate with gravel cleaner once a month and I use Aquaforest's Reef Salt. Since this video was filmed, there has been some major upgrades. Hope we can do follow-up video again on near future!
amazing tank
Sweet idea will like to see tank after some age.
Hope we can do a follow up video in the future.
Im into Freshwater but this.. damn, i like it alot!
Super!!! 👍
Jake, fantastic coverage as always.
Did he mention his water change regimen?
I don't do water change other than an incidental 20 litre when sands gets cleaned with gravel cleaner once a month.
Yoshi what an incredible tank.. Would you mind sharing your programing setup for the Maxspect Gyre? Thanks
Pump A: Gradual pulsing 60% max 0.8 sec pulsing
Pump B: Anti Synchronized 70% max 0.8 sec pulsing
Alternate Gyre mode twice a day with max/min 80%/-80% anti synchronising to send as much detritus out of the display tank.
Yoshi Fujisawa light set
It's so Beutiful ! Seems likes a good use for that pump
Maxspect Turbine Duo is really well designed to split the flow to return and chiller/reactor! Very innovative and easy to set up!
@@Getting_lost_in_japan Yea ! Good thinking & nice job ! I real like the maxspect light your using also & your reasoning behind it . Easier on the softies & those adjustable flaps . Beautiful Tank & State of the Art ! Your Great ! I subscribed to your channel . Please keep us updated
can someone explain to me the function of his ‘reactor’ and ‘chiller’ box he has on the left side of the tank please?
Reactor forces water to flow through the filtration media of your choice. I use activated carbon and Aquaforest Zeomix.
Chiller simply cools the water when the temperature raises above the specified level. In northern Queensland Australia, it is a must-have equipment as the temperature will go higher than 40 Celsius.
How do you keep the corals from stinging / Killing each other ? I am having a huge problem with coral war fair and corals incrusting into each other being so close together.
If it is acro, I usually leave them unless there seems to be a risk of one may completely die. I found they eventually settle in many cases. For LPS, I group them together to maximise the space.
there is a massive amount of $$$$ in coral giving a wow impact early in the tank life, now days these are common, it's when you see these tanks 3-5 years later and they look this good or better that your jaw drops to the ground. None the less this tank is a treat to look at.
Jestronix Handerson 9 months and that many successful colonies is no joke either...
Incredible
Very nice
Gorgeous
thats cool, cool reef
Amazing
So beautiful!!!! how the hell does he clean the back glass, im so jealous, btw congrats great work!
Easy!! Leave enough gap between the tank and wall and use flipper max.
I've seen this tank in person, It looks even better than on the video...
Vincent Chalias what kind of rock did he use to get this aquascape? Tonga?

How do you set the kessils to match the other lights colors and schedule? Or don’t you? I have 3 hydras on a complex schedule but really wanted to add a kessil for the shimmer and was told I shouldn’t. Any advice? Amazing tank thank you for sharing
I wouldn't worry too much. The colour temperature can be controlled between 15k and 20k with Kessil WE160 but it only allows 6 time points (with first gen spectral controller).
Yoshi Fujisawa ok. I was thinking of getting the new kessil 360x and just use the gooseneck like you only in the middle. And just turning it on and off manually and just use the knobs to adjust to whatever looks good. You think that will be ok? Thanks for the help
@@jczetroc8144 Lighting spectrum is a complex subject and it depends on what corals you have under it. But it's hard to go wrong with Kessil and it should be ok. I know it's not cheap but a spectral controller will really help though.
Yoshi Fujisawa wonderful reef. 😍. I am also recently using the Maxspect Recurve. Can u please share a preset that works for u? Me too doing a Mixed reef but SPS dominated.
great tank, great video ,i heard you comment that you did some australia reef diving did you see any scribble angels ??
Not but I saw some meridith's, first time seeing them in the wild for me, that was cool
How often and how much do you feed the aminos, vitality and reef roids?? Incredible tank by the way
Thank you Jenny. I used to feed amino and vitality everyday and reef roids 2-3 times a week. Now I increased feeding significantly and coral colour is improving! I am setting up simple automatic amino/food system.
Amazing Tank System - Neptunian Cube K150 Complete System
My first impression with the NC was definitely a good one, one last Maxspect part and it'll be a full-on Maxspect reef
Neptunian Cube offers a big sump, 100% waterproof PVC cabinet (comes assembled!) and super clear glass tank. I like corner overflow and clear back on display tank which gives clean look although a bit of extra time to clean.
Hello your gyre is in the gradual pulsing mode.
Is pump B synchronized, anti-synchronized, time delay or reversed timed Delay?
Anti-synchronised👍The trick is that the max flow on pump A and B is different so that the turbulence point keeps changing.
Wonderful tank and video. What were the pink fish schooling with the Chromis?
Dispar anthias. They need frequent feeding and I feed them 2 to 3 times a day.
Thank you sir.
Can I ask where id your return nozzel?
do you know what kind of lights/lightstand he uses? i really like that idea
Maxspect Recurve and Kessil A160WE Tuna Blue x 2😉
Nice tank. Just a question, why your skimmer water output is unplugged?
Just to lower the water height
