Great choices Jake! I wish there was more diversity of corals collected so it’s cool to see different stuff. I’m going to collect oddball leathers for my tank and grow them out. My Majestic won’t let me have LPS 😅

Loved the hammer. Reminds me of a patch of clover the way the tips are shaped. Maybe a four leaf shaped tip in there somewhere.

Nice selection. Gotta love Aussie corals. BTW, I think the center mouth of the green and black pectinia looks like the face of a snapping turtle.

That last chalice is definitely CCA Crayola Meltdown, crazy that they were able to find that in the wild😮

the Crayola and MANY others like it are actually the Oregon Mummy Eye from 15+ years ago that has morphed to include more colors reefbuilders.com/2021/07/01/oregon-mummy-eye-chalice/

Australia has always been my favorite country to import corals from. Tons of favorite corals which are meaty LPS! Then in a 180° turn you have your tabling Acros and staghorns. With lots of miscellaneous species all of which are underdogs! I’ll have to stop here or else I’m going to be watering from the mouth…

Jake, nice use of colored filters on the “Acid Trip” piece; I’ll only believe it’s that colorful when I see a frag in my tank in a few years. JK! I hope it grows well in your system. Keep up the great work.

Love it Jake.... I got about 6 or 7 chalice and a Hyper watermelon that struggled from shipping showing a little slow recession. Gonna probably pull it out and do an iodine dip to see if it will stop it. What you think?

Absolutely stunning chalice!! How did you go about getting the corals from AU to USA? I’ve been looking into it myself and I’ve heard it’s a very lengthy and expensive process to get all the permits and paper etc.

Every year you open your Christmas presents early! Lucky boy!
Why showing them under blue light, though?! If you want to change the way people are doing in this hobby you need to show them, my brother! :) If one day I decide to move to the mainland I will visit you... cause you are one of the few people in this hobby that have the coral species I also love! Thanks for sharing! Don't open the dry goods under the Christmas tree now! LOL!

@@ReefBuildersVideo Maybe would be great to make a new video showing the same corals under "white light" as a comparison version with a link. That would be nice!!! I'm sure people would stat to think more about what's going on in this hobby if you do that. Cheers!

Your elaboration in the colors of these corals are way off in my video are you useing a filter. Because you stated it was being shown under blue light but can't see no orange. When you say orange. Or yellow when your saying yellow?
