The whole idea of “wanker” or “rockstar” nominations proves that. Steiner presumably goes along with it because he is being paid. He sometimes implies they know nothing, but never says it out straight.
Of course because most fans will be more like them unless you're really interested in the technical side of things which most sports fans never are and most sports never thrive off of promoting that over storylines and drama
