Performance for me on my 3080 was a lot better during the tech alpha, like 40-60fps in LA, ultra preset, photogrammetry on. Compared now to the release build, same location, same Xcub aircraft, just bearly getting 40fps This is on TAA, 3440x1440 (ultra wide 2K), all traffic disabled (both AI and multiplayer, to match Tech Alpha settings). I was hopeful during TA. But this release build has been disappointing..
i have a 7700x, rtx 4070, 32gb of 5600 memory, so i'm sure i can run it, though how well remains to be seen. Holding off on a purchase, will get it nearer the Xmas holidays, will have more time to fill, and more time for fix's that will surely be coming. Good luck with the channel sir. Subbed too btw.
the quality you will get is largely dependent on your internet connection - it will run fine on your system if you internet speed is ok as the scenery, etc is streamed from the cloud - it wont help you much having a great system if your internet is not good - I know some streamers have had 1 gig connections and it is still rubbish - it also depends on the server demand - I love the game but to be honest waiting a while longer may be a good idea - I am using the game pass version as I wasn't going to spend over $100 like I did on msfs2020 and I am mostly happy with it but you have to understand that sometimes the graphics are really bad and it is nothing to do with your computer but the internet speed/ load - my system is a 3090 and a 17 processor - I think its a 10700 but I am not 100% sure.
The card will be fine, the CPU will explode. The game needs serious threading optimization. It's pushing all and any CPU to the max even with headroom on the GPU.
I have the same GPU and just like in most of your scenarios, it'd barely running at 99% ever due to the CPU bottleneck. Seem like the game really hits CPU's hard. In my case my 5800X3D has a higher power draw in this game than it does in Blender/Cinebench r23, which is nuts.
@@Ecstasio its unbelieveble bad . in 2D i hav 60 fps constant even on the ground , but when i switch to vr its about 20 18 fps . i don t know what to do .
Ty for the video. First of all 1440p is still requiring a lot of cpu usage. You need to disable IA pilots cause it uses a lot of CPU. I have 12700k and 3080. I’m having 50/60 fps in ultra+ DLSS quality
It runs fantastic on a 4080 Super. Are you talking about your vRAM or System RAM? Your 4080 has 16GB vRAM, but if you only have 16GB System RAM, it's cheap to upgrade to 32GB. The sim will still run fine on 16GB system RAM, you can always upgrade to 32GB later if you need more.

Wow, nice mate!
@@gaming-pot lol
From what I see in the video, and also my experience, (I have the same hardware as you) TAA feels and looks the better!
Oh yes, your right!
The problem here for me is the scenery loading, BING is awful...my internet connection is not bad but the scenery never loads complete!!
The loading is gutted. Way worse now, no idea what is happening. A lot of stutters and lag.

Can you do a benchmark with the 3080 in heavy urban city like NYC JFK flying over Manhattan?
The card will be fine, the CPU will explode. The game needs serious threading optimization. It's pushing all and any CPU to the max even with headroom on the GPU.
@@Ecstasio Correct.
I did it with the 3090 and Ryzen9 5950X; flying a F18 Hornet: steady 25fps at 4K ULTRA, no stutter.
@@SR-fw8og 16 cores and a 3090 should not be a 25fps experience. It is very poorly optimized.

Yea, thats the new game industry, very heavy cpu bound.
mine is different . 60 fps 2d 25 fps VR , but cpu 45% gpu 25% . its there a bottleneck or i missing something ?
@@meade918r If the GPU usage is below the CPU usage, then we can conclude the CPU is not "feeding" the GPU adequately.
If your GPU is 99-100%, obviously it's not a CPU bottleneck...

Look at the gpu usage, seems 2024 has the same cpu bottleneck like 2020 had where only 4 threads bin used
nice video, i was thinking about getting it since i haev a 4050 with 6gb vram idk if thats going to affect very much the performance
If you dont want to play it on ultra settings, you can take it, you will have to play with low/medium settings.
You will be lucky to play it at low settings 1080p.
1440P ULTRA: 🤠
4K ULTRA: 💀
😆😆
im getting 20-30 FPS with a 3080 and 5600x? why is my game not nearly as smooth?

You are using a 5600x. This game is pretty much heavy CPU.
Getting the same issues but l have a 7800X3D with an rx6750xt and 32gb ram
It’s above the min requirements tho l don’t understand
It’s saying l have a gpu bottleneck
@@tripstarkayzofficial is your community folder also empty?
@@tripstarkayzofficialwhy you got such an overkill cpu for that gpu lol. You do have a gpu bottleneck.
from what software that overlay is coming from?
Its build in you need to enable Developer Mode and search for show fps.
MSI Afterburner + RivaTunner.

I’d buy this if I could run it decently on a 4080 Super, but I only have 16gb RAM 😞

Hmmm. Great performance. Lets say
Really is!
Rtx 3080 unable to achieve 30fps in 1440p? This is an utter joke. I’m done with new games. And clearly DLSS isn’t working.
Dude it's a CPU intensive game, shove a 7800X3D in there and watch it take off
