I've got both pairs: R-51Ms in the front, R-41Ms in the back, both on top of 31" stands. And that makes a handsome little throwback quadraphonic system, as somebody who listens to their movies and music in surround sound.
Thanks for your comment. I was about to say the same thing. At least I was going to ask how they sounded that way. I’ve bought two pairs of the R-41s and I plan to get a pair of the R-51s asap. My plan is to use the 41s as surround and front presence speakers. Then the 51s as my mains. I have a small living room so there’s no other option but to sit the mains on top of my twin 10’ subwoofers. My amp is a Yamaha RX-V683 and I’ve never heard the Klipsch sound before. I bought these and a Klipsch center speaker blindly. I hope I didn’t make a $500 mistake.
Good review. Your choice of music was perfect because it showed me that the 51 had a bit more mid-range, which made the difference for me. Thank you for your time and effort.
Denon RCD ? I have Denon RCD M40 and I'm looking for better speakers (for music like: rock, metal, jazz, pop, electronic). I thinking about this Klipsch 51 or 41 or something else 🤔 What kind of music You listening? Cheers 🤘🏻
Thank for this upload. Both sets of speakers sounded good. That being said, it's difficult to make an honest comparison when there is a 6db difference in the output volume.
A lot of folks actually prefer the 41s better, especially if you have a sub in a home theater system. The 41 is known to be a little less muddled between the highs and mids.
Hi Jerome, I have a question, I'm searching for some solid surrounds, and I'm wondering what would be better the R41m or the polk xt15 for surrounds. I know you said you lean more on the bright side, I think I may too, but not sure, as I'm still very new to HT. But what do you think? or is there something better for the money in 2023? looking forward to your reply.
People say, that R-41sound is tiresome. Is this your experience? The R-51 sound kinda dull in compare. Can R-41 fill the front spot in a small 15m² room, dedicated to watching movies. Two and a half meters viewing distance. Will be upgraded to 5.1 in the future. Or should I go for R-51. Cost is not a problem. The size is. Gonna hung them on the TV wall, and they will protrude. I think it will be not be aesthetically nice.
Hi I need some help, I have a home theater 5.1.2 and I have 3 options to front speakers. The R-41M, R-51M and the Jamo S426 towers. To movies what do you recommended ? I have the R-100SW Klipsch Subwoofeer.
I just ordered the Klipsch R-41M for my front L/R on sale for $109.90 for the pair, and I got the Klipsch RC42IIBL Center Speaker for $129.00. I already have a Klipsch R-120SWi Wireless Subwoofer from Costco for $249.99 and I snagged a Pioneer VSX935 7.2 Channel Network AV Receiver for $349.99. I'm still going to be using old small Sony and Pioneer speakers for the rear and height speakers on my 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos system.
Any chance you could tell me how tall each are...? I fear in my living room, in one spot, I may only be able to use the smaller ones... these.would be for front L&R in a surround sound setup, with a sub.... a 5.1 setup, eventually an Atmos setup ofneither 5.1.2 or 5.1.4...

Thanks for taking the time to do this- very, very helpful!

I bought the R-51m and fosi bt20a amp as my very first speakers, they should be here tomorrow!
Hey how was it? Anything you learned?
Great video. You could clearly hear the difference. I just got my R-41M I will be sitting up a small home teacher this weekend in my home.
What is the input voltage
I got the 51’s on sale and love them even though my denon receiver is 30w per channel but plenty of power . MJ’s Don’t Stop sounds awesome on these

R-51M are louder.
In the UK, the 51m's are more than double the price. For something that dosent feel double the value, I can imagine alot of people feel the same way
Wow thats crazy :O
There not double The price the 41m's are £180 and the 51m's £260 😉
@@jt3306 okay, where?
Same here in Mexico, the 41m's are around 150 usd and the 51m's double that lol

Thanks!! Awesome comparison video. Better R41M better sound in my ears
Agreed! So many audiophiles recommend R41 for budget system and surrounds
Thanks for this video. Really helps
Both pairs of speakers sounded sweet to my ears Sir.
Jerome Junior Nice content & reviews, Out of either one of these models & the Edifier R1700BTs what one would you recommend for a turntable ?
I personally would go with the Edifier for a turntable. They don’t need a AVR and sounds great for the price.
@@JeromeJunior Okay cool would you need a sub though ?

R41M over Polk xt15. If your space allows the bigger size, go for the R51M.

I answered your question in my R-41M video comment section

The 51s are a little darker in sound than the 41s.

Why is the R-51PM cheaper if it is more powerful ? That is weird.
Which should I get if I’m planning to do an atmos set up?
Either one. Just depend on what sound (tone) you like.
i love my bright sound klipsch
Are the 51.r better for back surround speakers
From the r41
А в чём разница?
