    Love the simplicity of the channel, subscribed! Purchased them from Amazon 3 months ago, very nice sounding bookshelf speaker, sold them after i bought my Cabasse MC170.

    These speakers are fantastic. Get you some. They do have bass but you have to use them appropriately. They are for a small room or near field listening and are fantastic for that purpose. Put them on a 90's stereo in a small bedroom and enjoy.

    Great speakers. I have four with a r52c center and dual pb1000's for a 5.2.0 setup. Looking to replace the fronts with the larger r51m's then 2 more r41m's in a front height and rear height configuration to bring my system to a 5.2.4. Can't wait.

      Yeah I think the R51M would be a more balanced sound as the 4” driver of the r41m just isn’t able to keep up with the horn loaded tweeter

    People that buy Klipsch speakers are usually rock fans, or pop rock - listen to live Rock performances, and have eq's to bring down the high end! I love listening to "audiophile's" review Klipsch, Polk, and Cerwin Vega speakers and not know the fan base of the equipment. You can't get the "sound" we love any other way.

    Not too sure if I would refer to these as Loud Speakers, but I am using a pair of these for my rear height setup in a 5.1.4 system. They seem to do o.k. in this application...
    I cut these off at around 100 hz. and let the other speakers and sub handle the low end. Overall, I would recommend doing some research. The $135 Jamo S803 speakers would be a fantastic place to start! Good luck. :-)

    I was looking at these & saw your review. So what would you recommend that has a more forward presentation of male voice but without the tubiness that is so often found on smaller speakers? Thanx 👍

      If you’re keeping in the sub $200 I’d look at the Neumi BS5 or even a pair of their CS5 “center channel” tipped vertical as an MTM speaker. The Sony CS5 is another solid option as it doesn’t suffer from a mid bass hump like other budget bookshelves, especially when it is on sale.

      Depending on your area, you might want into used market for 2 channel receivers or amplifiers.
      As far as new, Topping PA3, Cambridge AXA25 could be good options.

    If you don't like Klipsch, it's pointless reviewing these speakers...

      Thank you for the insightful feedback. I'll be sure to not rustle any more jimmies in the future.

      It's good to hear from a perspective from someone that don't like klip the budget klipsch b&w and focal are all in your face forwards speakers and get more and more tame with better mids as they all lack mids in the budget range it's a sound sig that most companies like to do and easy to do for the masses but they all get pretty serious once you go up the line if you like pretty balanced kef is one of the brands where there budget line is pretty balanced all around not the best speaker as it's highs mids and lows don't stand out but it's a good starter to find out what you like same with klipsch you could go to the warm side like elac or older kef

    These aren't loudspeakers bro. These are baby bookshelf speakers.

    • @OHMAudioChannel
      @OHMAudioChannel  2 года назад +2

      Well they can be loud for about a second before the coils fry. Loudspeaker is a generic term for a device that converts an electrical signal into sound.
