Cheat curls at 308? Even if they're cheat curls that's some SERIOUS power right there

They're not squats, they're good mornings as he also states I believe in the titles
Cut tendons boy
Eric Bugez tried doing his workouts and it really puts to perspective how strong our bloatlord is.
Yy just saw the video with juji
Yeah, but strength is also specific. The Bloatlord uses his power in a bouncy way if that makes sense. I try to learn from him, and I can side-raise 35s now. It's all about the whole body bounce.

Bouncy? Are you trying to say he has more explosive power?
@@jdillon575 try zercher shrugging any weight, what he does is INSANE
@@jdillon575 That's not how momentum works.
In fact, the "momentum" argument makes it more impressive. Because you need to slow down the downward momentum with your body, and apply an upward force again for an upward momentum.
And the faster you change this momentum, the more force you require.
He was an olymlic weightlifter, snatched 180 cnj 220, but now in his mid 40s with al lot of injuries, no tendons on knees etc, he does what he can and what he likes.

Let me tell you some things about Kyriakos. I studied in his town (Kavala) from 2000 to 2005 and I used to trained with him for a short period of time in JKD. Back then he was half of what he is now but still a really big man. He told me that he was practicing Kick-boxing before(don't remember for how long) and turned into JKD. When I started out he was there for a year or so.. He was fast for his size and he used to pair up with another fast guy for the sparing. One time there was no other beginner at the dojo except me so I had to spar with him. So now I can gladly say that I was punched in the face by the Grizzly. His fist was the same size with my face. I quitted JKD school after 2-3 months (big mistake) but he continued. I saw him again 1-2 years after at the bowling center (he worked as security there) and he told me that bythen he learned how to kill the opponent, he even demonstrated to me some stuff (scary shit). After 15 years I found out that he is famous as the heavylifter Grizzly. Good guy..
hahaha of course he flexed how you left and he eventually learned how to kill a man!
That’s amazing you were touched by the bloatloard
You fought His Bloatiness and survived. Respect, bro.
do you know if he was a legit powerlifter or is that just speculation?.
@@longschlongfilmz9958 "After 15 years I found out that he is famous as the heavylifter Grizzly". I am not speculating anything
After watching these, it strikes me that the Grizzly is actually stronger than I thought he was. His form is actually superior to several lifts here. The Dumbell curls were astonishing, especially compared to Magnus, who used his whole body to do them. Bibby’s ‘Bent over rows’ were largely a short deadlift/dip combo. His last raises were staggering. That’s seated press was simply incredible. Plus, the Grizzly is older than all of them. People laugh and joke because he does some ‘out there’ things, but he is genuinely, truly strong.

He is seriously strong in the highrep area. Lacking some form yes, but even so the stamina, regarding his enormous frame, is impressive. He has some unconventional lifts to say the least but some of these are still real feats of strength. And look at those pullups!
Absolutely bud, unorthodox, but very strong
@@StrengthUniverse Haha, yes. Unorthodox :)

@@englishorchard-haze4708 How is kipping + chin below wrists great form for pullups? This guy is obviously strong, but those aren't great pullups.
Cut tendons in both legs, tricep tear, other injuries, holds 470kg in his elbows, throws 200kg in the air and catch it with his arms, idk what people complain about, just watching his videos shows amazing feats of strenght, you don't need to beat records all day to be stronger than 99.99999999%of the yt comment section. "ah he has such a bad form", "I could do it too", yes yes, we know you could do it internet twinks. Now praise the lord and bow.
Good video BTW.
No. Its just his form is so fucking bad that its stupid at some point. Imagine strongest people on planet do shit like him...they will do 300kg on biceps and 1t deadlifts but no,we have rules and shit to actualy say if hes strong enought or no. Hes not,he do some dumb shit ,he have good genetics but his form is trash and if he would stop ego lifting everything and focus on technic he could be somone bugger than some russian dude who do cant make 175° squat
not to mention the dude had a bicep tear, no idea how he does the stuff he does
Facts.
Yes!!! Perfectly said
People that harp on form are people that are trying to avoid that next bicep tear (perhaps because they've had one or something similar).
Those injuries aren't a badge of honor, they're a sign that things aren't great. That long list of injuries ALREADY HAS reduced his total career length/ how long he can do this (he just still has enough left to keep going, eventually he will not unless he's a real anomaly).
The reason I will likely never get close to many of my fitness goals (as with everyone as they age and accumulate injuries) has a lot more to do with recovery time between minor injuries than effort on any one workout.
They aren't saying he isn't strong or hasn't achieved something impressive, but rather that your average youtube watcher SHOULD NOT follow those footsteps or use this as an example, because we all know where they lead at some point (even for him, sorry for the negative prognostication).
His form isn’t great because it’s been terribly injured through the years, I don’t understand why people hold that against him, he’s created his own lifts and does what he can with others, he’s still an insane powerhouse

Regardless of what anyone says. He's an absolute unit
No lie, he's doing these exercises better than the people you're comparing him to. Besides full range of motion barbell movements like squats, he's doing it at the weight or heavier and with more strict form. He beat Biby at the bent-over rows (many dudes that do BOR at 500+ lbs cheat like a mf and get no contraction at the top), while Grizzly was actually pulling the weight cleanly from the blocks to his stomach with full contraction. He definitely beat Magnus at the cheat reps, Grizzly handled those dumbbells. Same for the lateral raises. Heavier weight, just as strict form. He's got serious muscle under that fat, and he's only a meme because of the outlandish exercises he does. He moves weight like an ox, and I have yet to see anybody come close with some of the exercises he does. He's practically world-class in moving weight. Long live the MOGG.
There's no doubt he's strong af.
his back is strong but not his strongest point. he does 230kg rows for super small range of motion, while pavlo nakonechky does 300kg with better range of motion and more reps.
The seated press is a incline bench press, jejjeje in the row de did a deadlift and incline for the negative part, the squat is a quarter squat, the hammer curls its more like a snatch with dumbells, the lateral raises are actually nice, the pullups are strongs AF, the cheat curl is nice, the bench press are bouncing, the deadlift its the same than his rows, jejejej, lat pulldown are impressive

When confronted with such lifters in the gym and hearing the haters attack them, I have a go to phrase..... " Then you do it".
That tends to quiet the onlookers. His form is sloppy but was not so bad on certain movements, his lat pull downs weren't perfect but the man showed some serious power and endurance with the weight. For the cheat curls, I wonder how his critics would fair with 300 on the bar?
He always shows these glimpses of being really legit strong. He bounced that seated press but it was still really freaking impressive.

Yeah, consider he is in his mid 40's, has a whole list of injuries and he's still stronger than plenty of strongmen out there.

He is actually holding his own pretty well in a lot of these. It is also important to note that he is approaching 50 at this point, and he is still incredibly strong. Shedding the belly weight would certainly help, but that is easier said than done in middle age. Some people like to eat, and while not great for your health, it doesn't mean you are a bad person.

Not bad location, I'm situated at a corner of a sometimes very busy Crossway with one direction stopping at a stop sign. There haven't been as many wrecks since installing a light. If you ever wanted to visit or move to Oregon, maybe you could check it out.
See what we are working with out here! Oregon is actually a pretty massive state. It's actually about 80 percent federally protected wildlife preserve.
And I'm my county, Washington County we actually have what is termed, "an infinite water shed". It means we won't run out of water. But we still do need to be water conscious. The water out here actually is some of the best quality in the world. A lot of breweries recognized this. And there is a top Sake maker out in Forest Grove, Oregon. My brother is a head beer brewer out in Astoria Oregon.
There is plenty of decent brew! Cheer's from Oregon country!
Those pull ups were legit impressive, especially at 400+
His cheat curls are up there among the strongest in the world, good pullups....probably the best pullups at 400lbs or so that I have ever seen, also his 398 pin press is a very awkward lift.....not like a pin press from a bench and still he finishes the rep in about half a second.....he is very explosive and deceptively strong. I honestly believe if he cared to change them as well a lot of his partial lifts-rows, squats etc would be very similar in numbers done strictly maybe just taking a rep or two away and in their own way are difficult. Who does continuous tension bodybuilding style squats with 700 for reps? As is seen in the Jujimufu video.....let anyone on earth try to match his partial reps or weird lifts...good luck!
