I cant wait to see this army completed, maybe in the future we can see a custom War Rig from Kill Rig and Doof Wagon converted from Battlewagon, or maybe even Boomdakka Snazwagon with little gretchin Max
WITNESSED I'd say the head came out beautifully, don't put your sculpt down. It reads clearly as Joe and looks good and fitting with the rest of the model, good job.
"Mad Max: Fury Road" is one of my all-time favourite films, and I think what you've created here is a brilliant tribute. Do you have plans to make a "Toof Warrior" musician? :)
jay, your orcs are one of my favourite "themed" 40k armies. i enjoy every single video about them and i really hope to see them in action in one of those mysterious battle reports in the future maybe. seems like they could be especially fun in a narrative report
Huge fan of Mad Max here, really nice and dynamic model, loved the scultped mask and gas tube ! But you missed the opportunity to call him IMMORKTAL JOE ! ;)
I have a beast snagga thing going on with my orks. My first conversion has been trukks, necromunda trailers looted and pulled by squigs. Man this army is so much fun.
Apologies if you already know this but you can spiral the green stuff around very slender wire before rolling the resulting tube to produce cables that are tough and bendable
i would like to thank you so much this video got me to watch fury road a few months ago and it is now one of my favorite movies of all time thank you so much
I love that you are always pushing yourself and trying new things. Love you immortal Joe! I think he looks amazing!! You have totally embraced the hobby! Fantastic work as always!! Thanks gents!! Where do you get your pine nuggets from? I have looked at lowes and can’t find them. Any advice?
Dude thank you so much for your content, ive been fixated with 40k and watching you gave me the courage to try it out. i bought my first box of chaos legionaries for a kill team and im so hyped!!!
Funnily enough my ironjaws are based on the same universe. They are pale skinned clad in black weathered metals and have the distinctive black face paint. Wish I was good with kitbashing the waaaaaghboys could use an imvonurable Moe.
You can achieve the same "fine tube hose" look by rolling a cheap fine tooth comb over the green stuff snakes! Also, you can take a thin piece of armature wire and wrap the green stuff tube around it, roll it flat on a table, and then make the tube, and BAM, you got yourself a sturdy and moveable tube.
Great video. I recently got into Gaslands cars and this was fun to watch. Know I have a few Ork bikers in my box of shame that I’m gonna work on soon. Thanks for the inspiration
That is absolutely awesome! I think to solidify the theme, maybe add some black around the eyes of your boyz and have some in 'about to die in the process of krumpin' poses with silver around their mouths
You could continue the Fury Road theme by giving a burna boy a guitar flamer, preferably mounted on a vehicle. Spraying some ork mouths with chrome could also work! Incorporate the older movies with things like Wez (blood bowl orc with red mohawk) and Master Blaster (gretchin mounted on an ork).
My favorite thing from mad max is that they were all practical effects. They flipped all the cars, shot actual fire from pipes, everything. In all the movies
I think it would so cool if you ever painted the new High Marshal Helbrecht that you painted and kitbashed the dead ork on the base to look like one of your new mad max orcs. could give him like a biker helmet and in his hand that lies down in the front he could be holing a wrench or something, maybe he was a mecanic ork. also, this ork boss is easily the sickest thing (I think anyway) that you have painted/build on your channel. edit: omg you NEED to make one of the orcs in your army BLUE as if he got lost from (forgot his name) orc army and is now vibing with the mad max lads.
That looks bad ass man, I like how you just jumped in and did it, even if you aren't a world renowned sculptor... turned out fucking amazing bro! Well done! 🤘🏼
Love the Fury Road (orks)... did you know that the guy who plays Immortan Joe is the same actor who played Toecutter, the main villain in the original Mad Max film? He's a Shakespearean British actor, so that's why all his lines are great... I got a couple of his other films, too!
The next thing you need to do is a custom Battlewagon and a couple of buggies like a Kustom Boosta Blasta and a Killdakka Snazwagon to give you a big bad heavy support and some medium vehicles
Green stuff would have actually worked better than milliput for sculpting the hair. Milliput is generally better for harder details (e.g. armor plates). Looks great though!
I have used a clear matte polyurethane spray on many of my D&D minis that i have painted in the past to seal in the paints and make sure that handling them doesn't rub off or dull the paint, but i have never used Pigment Powders, I was wondering if you know how they react to something like spraying a sealer over them?
Instead of that Green Stuff World Pipe and Tentacle Roller I use a hair comb, its probably more fiddley and doesnt give as many options, but I have made some great ribbed pipes and worm style tentacles from it.
I would've gone with ImORKan Joe, but love this build. I've never collected Orks but I really want to get1 each of the Snazzwagon etc. and paint them to look like Fury Road cars.
By chance have you ever looked at the Russian Tehnolog miniatures? They have a few good models and I’d be interested to hear your take on them and on their terrain kits which could be used in various games.
As a huge fan of Fury Road, you have no idea how happy this makes me. Someone needs to make then Doof Wagon out of the Killrig!
He's been planning on it!
Battlewagon probably works better for this
Dude I'd kill to see a doof wagon
Felix The Crazy had one
I cant wait to see this army completed, maybe in the future we can see a custom War Rig from Kill Rig and Doof Wagon converted from Battlewagon, or maybe even Boomdakka Snazwagon with little gretchin Max
This needs to happen...man I love/hate orks so much the options are endless.
Someone actually DID covert the Doof Wagon for his orks when the movie came out.
Yes. It is as AWESOME as it sounds!
Doof wagon? You mean the waginator
Imagine being a guardsman, and you somehow manage to blow an orks arm off, and then The ork bellows ’WITNESS ME’ with an explosive in hand
WITNESSED I'd say the head came out beautifully, don't put your sculpt down. It reads clearly as Joe and looks good and fitting with the rest of the model, good job.

Artel minis have a full Ork rock band set
jay, your orcs are one of my favourite "themed" 40k armies. i enjoy every single video about them and i really hope to see them in action in one of those mysterious battle reports in the future maybe. seems like they could be especially fun in a narrative report
This is fantastic work, well done Jay!
You should try and make an ork based on the small guy and big guy with the metal fishbowl helmet from the third movie because this looked really good
Just found your channel and wow, incredible videos. You explain everything very well. Very inspiring !
Huge fan of Mad Max here, really nice and dynamic model, loved the scultped mask and gas tube ! But you missed the opportunity to call him IMMORKTAL JOE !
;)
That's a beautiful conversion and army. I can't wait to see some mad max trukz to go with it 🥰
Nice job on that! You give yourself too hard of a time with your sculpting. It fit the ork aesthetic really well!
Man you killed it with that sculpt! Looks amazing
Really enjoyed binging your content after I discovered this channel, huge fan of how the hoses in the mask are seamlessly hidden by the sculpted hair.
I have a beast snagga thing going on with my orks. My first conversion has been trukks, necromunda trailers looted and pulled by squigs. Man this army is so much fun.

Great video. I love to see the experimentation and lessons learned from them.
Funnily enough my ironjaws are based on the same universe. They are pale skinned clad in black weathered metals and have the distinctive black face paint.

Good job on the sculpting!
It's not easy being green... But it sure is a ton of fun.
At last! Simple and clear sculpting guide! Thank you very much.
This is freaking awesome! Absolutely love it!
That was a super fun video! It's cool to see a unique idea and one you are passionate about.
Man this video had it all! Kitbashing, sculpting, painting and making a sweet base, what more could you ask for!
That's fab'! amazing work, well done. Gives me some confidence to try a little bit of sculpting myself.
Great video. I recently got into Gaslands cars and this was fun to watch. Know I have a few Ork bikers in my box of shame that I’m gonna work on soon. Thanks for the inspiration
Solid effort! Love your work and passion.
That is absolutely awesome! I think to solidify the theme, maybe add some black around the eyes of your boyz and have some in 'about to die in the process of krumpin' poses with silver around their mouths
If you don't have a texture roller, a fine toothed plastic comb can also be a poor man's substitute! Nice final result
Great video and love the transformation work on the model - more videos taking us through this creation journey are welcomed!
I really really enjoy your videos, specially when then video is for painting a miniature/army (Gungan army FTW) !!
really respect showing the setting up for possible failure. I feel far too many tutorials/walk thrus don't cover these issue
I'm loving this army you did, I love mad max and the whole apocalyptic theme
I haven’t seen fury road other than clips, and I think you do it extremely well, but I really wish you would post more IG stuff Jay!
Great job on the sculpting, it is fantastic!

Another great episode, i love seeing this Ork army grow. Keep up the good work :)
Looks fantastic!
Surely it should me "Imorktal Joe" though!
That base is insane. Great job.
This is absolutely amazing. And from one warboss to another, WAAAAGH!!!
Wow, looks amazing! 😍You earned a sub :) Looking forward to your next vid, keep up the good work!
Your Mad Max Orks are one my favorite armies I've ever seen. I'll watch every video you ever do on them.
Oh, what a lovely video! Awesome work!
I dont even play these games, but I am learning to paint and your channel is awesome.
That Ork is amazing!
They will be bellowing the praises of this conversion in the halls of Gork (or possibly Mork)!
It never occurred to me how much the aesthetic of mad Max and Warhammer orcs fits together. They're both loud over the top ramshackle death traps.
Thank you Jay, for making a video on how to green sculpt 'Jim Carrey The Mask' for my ork army.
if you roll the green stuff around some thin wire when it is cured it is easier to shape
Jay this looks sick mate. Very well done!
nice too see your ork army again Jay! always love seeing you go back to wip projects
Great work, that's a fantastic looking army!
that is dope, I look forward to a battle report soon with these orks I have been creeping on
I think you could have got away with 'E-Morkal-Joe'. Excellent video!
That looks bad ass man, I like how you just jumped in and did it, even if you aren't a world renowned sculptor... turned out fucking amazing bro! Well done! 🤘🏼
Please more about this army!!! It's super unique and inspiring
Huzzah ! Go Orks,, just a suggestion but maybe some Clump foliage flames coming out the back of that rocket would be awesome sauce
Fantastic stuff...I'm dangerously close to starting an orc army. Must stay strong and finish my other 2 armies! >.>
Best patreon transition so far
Amazing model! You nailed it!
3:11 that ork’s head is purple 😂
If you really wanted to go full Mad Max maybe it look like they’re covered in white paint like the War Boys.
Amazing! Well Done!
Not Valhalla Jay.... WAAAGH-ALLA!!! War Rig Battle fortress next?
Seriously cool boss ! I think the execution is great
I did nearly the same thing, few years ago. I added a green stuff hockey mask to make Humungus from Mad Max 2
My DE is Mad Max themed, I have an Immortan Joe Archon. PS, you should mix Miliput and Greenstuff, try it out very nice.
Excellent work! So cool!
I’d love to see a Ork truck in the style of the black on black Ford Falcon from the Road Warrior
This is awesome
A Fusion of 2 of my favorite things
Mad Max
And
Warhammer
10:52 that must be huge hair squig or so many of little one to get that look
Love the Fury Road (orks)... did you know that the guy who plays Immortan Joe is the same actor who played Toecutter, the main villain in the original Mad Max film? He's a Shakespearean British actor, so that's why all his lines are great... I got a couple of his other films, too!
Amazing video, you have some serious skills, love you work.
The next thing you need to do is a custom Battlewagon and a couple of buggies like a Kustom Boosta Blasta and a Killdakka Snazwagon to give you a big bad heavy support and some medium vehicles
Absolutely amazing!
Green stuff would have actually worked better than milliput for sculpting the hair. Milliput is generally better for harder details (e.g. armor plates). Looks great though!
I dont know how well this pun works for native english speakers, but I'd totally call him Immortan Jaw
Next up, Jay takes two dozen snotlings and airbrushes their teeth chrome, replacing all their grenades with rattlecans to complete the effect!
I really hope you make an Orkbattlevagon with loads of speakers and an ork strapped up playing the electric guitar!!
I have used a clear matte polyurethane spray on many of my D&D minis that i have painted in the past to seal in the paints and make sure that handling them doesn't rub off or dull the paint, but i have never used Pigment Powders, I was wondering if you know how they react to something like spraying a sealer over them?

I don’t know why the beginning 10 seconds made me so happy. I had to wave back
You beat me to it! I wanted to make an Immorktan Joe aswell, very well executed.
You should try and get your hands on an old box set of the Gorkamorka game which was an Ork vs Ork mad max style game
'im aught ta go! This mini turned out so well.
Such a great job mate
"Immorkan Joe" was right there for the Taking!
'"Hey guys, I didn't see you there".
Me: Jay, there's 114.000 of us. How could you possibly have not seen us?!
As a Brit, I can't get enough of Jay saying "Nob head" repeatedly, LOL!
Great job on the head!
But i believe it's a missed opportunity that you didn't name him "IM-MORK-AL JOE" :p
Really fantastic work. Good Job.
I would've gone with ImORKan Joe, but love this build. I've never collected Orks but I really want to get1 each of the Snazzwagon etc. and paint them to look like Fury Road cars.
Really good looking boss, gz man
The head came out brilliantly! 10/10 stuff!
By chance have you ever looked at the Russian Tehnolog miniatures? They have a few good models and I’d be interested to hear your take on them and on their terrain kits which could be used in various games.
