I have a hyundai 2008 with 2.7i 6 cyl engine. It runs fine but on the highway occasionally (say every 30-60 minute) I feel a very short blib. At the same time I briefly see the engine rpm go up and down about 200 rpm while driving at say 2500 rpm. Any idea what that could be? It also still pulls fine the caravan.
we have a 2013 hyundai equus - car is amazing - but of late it has been kicking bad on several trips - feels like being hit from behind. I finally got hyundai to cover the transmission (had the extnded warranty) however on my drive home it started chugging/kicking - 3 - 4 times from acceleration (different from previous Kicking) 0-30 as well it now "revs" at about 30-40 which it did not do prior. What do you think it could be. Bringing back thurs - they said they drove it and it was no problems - however I drove 5 mins in chugging/reving thank you!

My 19 Elantra is a cheap pos, only 55000 miles, rough idle, ticking/knocking and hard shifts. My Jetta TDI with 160,000 original everything seems better than this Hyundai pos.

My car is at 130k. Doin the kickin. Feels like gettin hit from behind.
Does it get stuck in 4th gear?
I’ve heard a lot of the newer Hyundais have awful transmission

Must just be yours. You change the oil on it constantly. My 2020 Elantra SEL runs like a beast
