    I don’t think new company’s to get into a rental but if you have dedicated lanes and you know how to work the boards to extract 5k a week you can definitely make a killing in a rental or lease. It feels great to not worry about maintenance and the company’s will keep you in brand new equipment. Customer like new equipment. Plus you get a better MPG which is a great savings

      Don’t be deceived, your paying for maintenance in advance. The newer the rental also increases the cost of your insurance premium. Keep that in mind. The rental companies are very smart. Some shippers won’t accept rental equipment to move loads.

      @@flightrisk4771 bro I just hope you buy ya truck,you can make it in this market it you do unless you got some contract lined up or dedicated lanes, until ya authority grows you’ll be fine,just plan on being on the road,run ya numbers,know ya cost per mile to operate , anything after that is profit,I just jump out here with look at big Vic videos,and took the leap of faith, and by the way, make sure all your paperwork is right so you don’t get put out of service wouldn’t want you to take a loss, I’m bout to go on my 90 days in June, but until your authority grows, you’re not gonna be able to partial things together, so jump out here with that in mind, not saying you can’t do it just saying it’s nearly impossible when you can’t get loads from every broker, you’re going you’re going to have to wait until your authority grows. That’s literally the biggest thing, but in the meantime, stay compliant and make your deliveries on time show the brokers that when they look at your authority, you’re a good person to do business with and they can trust you with their freight, but that’s all the advice I can give. I’m not trying to deter you or anybody else from jumping out here man I honestly feel like it’s the best decision I ever made , hope this helps. Have a good one.

    Hey I have a Q, I’m getting a box truck. I’m in the beginning stages with the LLcs, etc. is it possible to get a basic insurance to transport the box truck home without getting commercial insurance yet. After paperwork is finalized, then get commercial ins.

    • @BiggVic
      @BiggVic  11 дней назад

      Yes, I did temp insurance just to transport my first truck from Florida. But you will still have to call a commercial insurance company to get it.

    Could I still run Amazon relay without a liftgate

    • @BiggVic
      @BiggVic  16 дней назад +2

      Yeah but if you need it on a load you’ll be getting a rejection for not having one and that load will be cancelled. Which then destroys your company performance score. Just get a lift gate. ✌🏾

    I need some advice w broker sent me an adjusted rate con taking w away half the money…

    • @BiggVic
      @BiggVic  15 дней назад

      Either you were late or didn't communicate or track the load. Read that rate confirmation. Don't give them free money. It's a shame that they do that. 😩

    But what about for 16ft box trucks though?? Or is all the love solely for 26ft. Smdh

    • @BiggVic
      @BiggVic  17 дней назад +2

      Not sure what you mean. You can apply a lot of what I talk about to any size box truck. 26 ft is just requested more than most other smaller sizes. Dock height size equipment is important to shippers. Makes loading their freight a breeze.
