Ah, Heck. The most atmospheric and boring level in Final Doom. I believe the walls in the caverns are so tall it causes weird texture effects, not that anyone ever noticed. If they could do this map, they could probably have done The Spirit World from Doom 2. Edit: note the unusual variety of powerful monsters.
A wonderful level in hell!
Very good music for most maps.
If you were to do the room with the yellow key before the room with the red key, the pain elementals cannot produce lost souls.
Nice landscape!

And if you're playing with multiplayer enemies enabled you get blasted by four archviles at the very start.
If you played Heck, this means there's no Mount Pain on this version. Good for you. =)
I'm curious to see Plutonia's maps on this version.
And there's also no Metal, no Habitat, no Administration Centre, no Shipping/Respawning...you get the point :-D
Well another good thing about PSX Final Doom. They got rid of the bad levels of TNT
***** Hehe, sure. =D TNT is known by having some good maps but some damn boring maps too.
Some of the TNT maps just feel rushed and unfinished. Habitat immediately comes to mind.
No Archviles in the PSX version?
