2:40 "As long as you've got this, you've always got a friend." Yeah I can tell we will be seeing some kind of Sy returning, whether that be an AI personality, or something else. Ooo! What if... Sy was working on something below the mall, like oh I don't know... An entire underground base, I mean his sister was down there. So an entire hidden base would make sense. Maybe even a robot with, one piece missing from it. Naming a right eye. Harley and her crew could be mourning his loss, unintentially presses the iris. Which causes some kind of rumble to occur, and a voice of Sy's to play over the speakers or from the eye itself telling them to go to a certain spot. Yada Yada.
Sy is such a weird, so very American character. He‘s extremely Jewish, he‘s extremely entangled in fucked up army CIA shit, he‘s an old guy trying to live some kind of life past his prime, he‘s very warm and loving to people close to him. A bunch of gen x/millenial writers put a lot of his their feelings about their elders into this character.
People are complex, sometimes the older generation loses touch and says or does things that hurt people they where raised to not care for. But that hatred isn’t to the core. They still see the world through the lenses they where given. But they also care for the next generation, and for the people who live them. Sy is a lot of things He is a crotchety old man He is out of touch But he is loyal He is brave He may not understand every part of where the world is going, but then again, he doesn’t have too. He knows that his friends and family care for a cause and are capable. In the end, he still has a heart of gold and he puts his trust in his family’s judgments above his own lack of understanding. I think alot of grandparents or older relatives fit this trope. That’s who he reminds me of in my own life. They may say things or do things out of habit, but they know deep down the world is in good hands, and that they need to trust us to take the wheel
The classic finale. The darkest night of the soul. Harley's on her own and forced to return to The Joker. It's like Luke going to see Vader in Return of the Jedi, but if he'd been abandoned by the Rebels just before. It adds a sense of real danger of the hero snapping and going full dark side. Will she crumble? Will she be able to prove she's better than Ivy thought of her? Will Frank eat Kite-Man because he thinks Harley is better for her? Find out next week, same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel!
Honestly, I liked Psycho.... That is, until he betrayed his friends. Cause he was a sad little pathetic excuse for a man. And he's a woman hater. Obviously. King Shark and Clayface are better friends to Harley than Psycho ever was. And Ivy turned out to be selfish.

Harley was played for a complete and total fool, causing too much death and destruction. From here on out, she'll keep paying the price for 3 episodes.
But how would they have done that? Pshyco is flying above them and has his telekinesis and other brain powers amplified? Although Idk why he had to put up a dome around the whole building, he could've just made a large, but smaller, cube on the roof.
No one in this universe has any subtlety. Wayne Tower has bat ears. Riddler built a 'secret' lair that was a giant, luminious green sphinx just out in the open. I love it, tbh.
I feel like Pshyco's motivation for not controlling Harely should've been just shortened to "I'm having fun" because I don't think he would care about having 'pizzazz". Anyone else? He really should have just controlled her though.
Psycho already manipulated her to get to Darkseid, and then literally controlled her mind, when she fought Granny. He wanted revenge on Harley, and this is a more weightful way for it.
