This is more style related but I still live for my juicy couture tracksuits in hot pink 😂😂😂 it’s giving early 2000s Simple Life with my white multi speedy and I don’t give a shhhh 😂😂💁🏻♀️. Love the Gucci !! I think those are still a vibeeeee 💗
90 bags! That’s freakin awesome! Oh that Gucci bag is stunning. I love my Marmont as well. I love that one. I wanted that bag but it sold out before I can buy it back then. I love how you get excited when talking about the bags you want.
I was lucky to score a Ferragamo Wanda bag off eBay before the brand became popular again. I love how Maximilian Davis is bringing back vintage styles!
Me too, Jackie! The older IT bags are still a ton of fun to collect, and at much better prices! I only have a few Ferragamo pieces- but I need to get one of their bags too.
It is quite interesting how some former hit designs just become outdated (in some opinions) while some other bags that have been around for years are still cool (Hermes BKC, Chanel classic flap, etc). I say if you love a style and it works for your lifestyle, you can get some great designer bags preloved that are out of production.
Yes to Ferragamo. I picked up several pairs of pumps and a Margo top handle several years back in Palm Beach before I discovered our boutique on Michigan Ave. LOVE Ferragamo. Great quality. IYKYK
Well I love my "has-been" Pandora lol. What I've realized about it is that it's interesting, rather than eye-catching. It's conceptual art in the form of a very easy-use handbag, rather than an IG-ready influencer bag. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE an eye-catching moment, but there's something to be said for conceptually substantive bags, esp ones that you don't need an occasion to wear
Thank you, Receipts! The Pandora is one of my favorite bags, especially in the summer. And it's a very polarizing bag- people either love it or hate it, but it caught their attention at least! I carried mine all week last week, and I love everything about it!
I just bought a vintage Chanel from 1999 from Fashionphile. The inside looks perfect no smell.. The outside looks like it just needs a good conditioning. It is my pleasure to pick up old bags in great shape that others are afraid to moisturize.
A lovely selection! I am too tight to pay for a Capucine, but I do like them. It took sheer will-power to stop myself from buying that Lanvin. What a bargain! Thank you for the video!
fun one and i totally agree with all of that! i remember seeing the Pandora on Veep and was like: what an interesting shape - and it still is a very sharp cool little number.
EDITOR, you are doing a great job and your pop-up remarks are fabulous. Tennis season is here, I am going to the French Open and the Queens Club Tournament in June, so psyched. Cheering for Tiafoe, I love how he smiles while playing tennis, he is really having fun.
I bought a Ferragamo at a consignment shop ten years ago for 75.00. Still have it. I have several large , leather, heavy Dooney-Bourke bags that are ten years old . They are not going anywhere! I enjoyed this informative video so much!!!
Hi funny you should mention Salvatore Ferragamo yesterday got a stunning Aline light beige, looks new for £249 beautiful. Also have a large Spy bag just waiting for it to be re-released.
Great video! My favorite has been that is not yet in my collection is the Givenchy Antigona. Still don't know what size, color, or texture I want but I'll figure it out someday.
I still have some old school Rebecca Minkoff MAB bags that I just can’t ever get rid of because they were my gateway bag into the contemporary category and now I’m a grown up in the luxury class but I still love that MAB silhouette! Has been = vintage = chic.
Yay awesomeness 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻…..I think you need all of those bags Caleb!!!!!!-we need to get you to 100 handbags before official summer😃🤗…. A client of mine found a Celine mini luggage for $600 and an LV artsy for $800 😱……ps your Pandora is gorgeous!🫶
Thank you!! And I agree! I want them all!! Haha, I think 100 will happen pretty soon. I need to take a count to double check. Those are such good deals! Congrats to your client!! And thank you, love the Pandora!
Caleb. I am feeling the Gucci. I haven’t yet seen the movie. I am going to have to check fashionfile. These bags under 1000.00 wow. Instead of bringing sexy back. We’re going to bring has been back. Lol.
Caleb! I know it's a tad early for pride, but will you be giving your thoughts on Coach's pride collection this year.....primarily the Fire Island bags....As you were lucky enough to get an Eagle Tote, and enjoy Gay art, I am curious to know your thoughts.
Affordable luxury is the trend I have noticed, not many people I see do unboxings from the boutiques. I’m happy with preloved because I’ve had tons of boutique experiences back in the early to late 2000’s, it’s not all that. To me the joy is the luxury item itself. I also don’t want to pay the hiked up prices for luxury, I don’t have to be trendy, the fashion houses pump out so much so often it’s almost impossible to keep up with. What happened to the days of just fall/winter, spring/summer that we couldn’t wait for, made it more exciting. I like these videos you do to show you can find beautiful luxury that doesn’t break the bank. You could buy 4 items on that list for the price of 1 new one, wow the math 😜
I agree- the store experience isn't worth the mark up to me either. I love buying preowned, because of the cost savings, and the fact that you can capture some really neat and forgotten about items. I miss the good ole days- now it seems like luxury is fast fashion, which is a shame.
Omg I’m sorry is that George the 4th I. The background Because I’m obsessed with the Royal history And also We have the Louís Vùitton Noè GM in the monogram canvas Great invest
@@CalebSnellI’m even obsessed with the Bonaparte family, Napoleon Bonaparte‘s mothers jewelry case is for sale on Christie’s for a measly $180,000 goal’s. We are having our Noè redone at Louis Vuitton ( everything is begin replaced it cost $1k,But my grandmother has had the bag for 30 yrs)
I like ferragamo too. Even before the new creative director, but love what he's doing too. However, in my experience the bags can also be impractical/non functional. I had an exquisite Margot that was woven, had to sell it as it was a large bag yet fit absolutely nothing because of the way the opening was designed. I now have a small Trifolio (their kelly equivalent). For Hermes aesthetic for less, I recommend ferragamo and longchamps--believe it or not.
@@CalebSnell The regular leather Margots (they may have since changed the name) didn't have the same issue, but mine was a special seasonal version where the body was made of braided/woven leather and rope, that it had no give to open. (Similar problem to the Lady Diors with zipper, spacious but inaccessible) If I was a person with an unlimited life, I would have kept it purely for display because it was a work of art. But then I do have a Dior Samourai (another has been bag!) which has a similar in the sense that they are both black structured lady like bags with woven and oriental elements, but very different. I used to be a sucker for oriental-esque bags (#oldbottega intrecciato olympia, vuitton epi noctambule, ysl saint tropez)
NGL, I'm a little self conscious about my out of date designer bags, especially when I am in nicer areas where everyone seems to have a current, direct from the boutique bag. I need Y2K to be over and the 2010's to be it again, because I have way more that era YSL and Bal than I should admit to owning.
I totally understand what you mean. When I'm going someplace trendy or nicer, I subconsciously don't grab for my older bags due to worrying about what other people might think lol- which is silly! But I do it too sometimes!
I bought a Doraemon Gucci card case on vestiaire collective and I’m not sure if it’s legit. Do you know if Gucci puts serial number inside the main compartment under Gucci logo and made in Italy?
First of all thank you for your handbag has-beens… Second of all I just pulled the string and bought my first givenchy mini pandora bag because of you. Based on what I carry I think the small would have been to big so I went mini. And for me the bigger the bag the more things I throw in them and the heavier they are on my shoulder. And I dislike that feeling. So I just wanted to come and give an update on my purchase. It will be here next week. Im sooooo excited.. Thank you for the video. ❤
Thank you so much, LaShante'! I'm so excited for you- you're going to lvoe the Pandora, it's such a fabulous bag. And the mini will be perfect for essentials! Let me know what you think of it once it comes in!!
Wow! This was a great video! Loved seeing some bags that I had not heard of before! Soooo tempting…but I was Very Bad…and am in process of paying the reserve on an item that I couldn’t resist last month!😮🫢🥰

The Pandora is going to be re-released at Givenchy. Matthew Williams confirmed it for Fall 2023.
That's interesting, I thought the Pandora was still part of their lineup?
When it comes to design, it's like music; great never gets old! Really enjoy watching your videos, always good vibes! Much ❤ to the both of you!

You're so right, M. It's a shame how quickly bags cycle out of trends these days- but if the style works for you- rock it!

Thank you, Alana! I'm happy to hear that you enjoy them!
Beautiful Givenchy! I had no idea you had a Celine before. 🥰
Thank you, Jamie! It only stayed with me for the weekend, and I sadly returned it- just wasn't going to work out.
Great list I actually have that Green LV on my favorites list too. 🎉 I love has beens too. Thanks for sharing
