I have the Cargo Ricky, my absolute favourite bag of all time!!! ❤ The interior of the bag is half leather to strengthen the structure. Bottom, front panel, back pocket, thick trimmings are leather inside. Hope this helps! (and now I have 5 of the 33s and 2 of the 27s) Happy Ricky shopping!!
Ostrich is a wonderful material: so soft, but so tough and durable. I had my toes stepped on by a horse once, while wearing my ostrich boots, and neither toes nor boots were any the worse! It can get water spots, though.

Hi Caleb, I'm more practical leaning these years and so I can picture that Overland shacket with a Ricky cargo. What a cool vibe that would be! I see the alligator Ricky as much dressier and more formal and for that reason you need to ask yourself if you would limit yourself on when to wear it. I'm concentrating on adding more Hermes scarves and scarf rings as well as H bracelets and DY jewelry to my collection this year, if I do get anything further. Have a blast buying in 2025!🎉🎉🎉

One is another vintage Dooney large bucket (exactly like the one you bought and sold); a barn jacket (will thrift); a short tan trench coat (will thrift); a long black trench coat (will thrift); and a particular bag style of vintage Coach in British Tan. I'm really aiming to have more leave my home than more coming in this year!

the trinity ring kind of reminds me of the tiffany wave ring. which i don't own yet, but i've tried on multiple times and it's comfortable. my wishlist is to add a statement pinky ring (cartier juste en clu) or bulgari serpenti. also maybe a wave ring. Also i'm going to get a stingray peekaboo. then i want a multicolor speedy in white. idk for me i always go instore experience of preloved. depends on which style you value more.
I think the alligator obviously makes your heart sing! 💞 BUT! Is use case something you’re considering, or is just collecting/admiring ok with being an end goal? The Ricky cargo would be amazing with all the jackets you mentioned, and a lot more wearable from a cohesive look perspective. The alligator will always be the statement piece - eliminating a lot of other things that will go with it. If you’re after a dark box leather Kelly… does it do the same as the black alligator? Visually the cargo seems more cohesive with the rest of your wish list, and the alligator/dark box Kelly is a little redundant? But maybe that’s just me!
For what you would pay for the Hermes bags you want. You could get both Rickys. Plan on getting both Rickys, and only change the to getting one if you find the Hermes you want. Yes, I have a diabolical mind, but you only live once.❤😂
I’m in the same dilemma with the Ricky bag. I have told myself this is the year, I want either the 33 or the 27, I’m flexible with that, the color will be the determining factor. I have checked online resale sites pretty regularly but haven’t had any luck. If I like the bag, I have serious condition concerns. So I’m at the point now where I’m considering biting the bullet and buying full price retail. If I can score a little discount, great, but not a deal breaker if I can’t. On the other hand, I tell myself they don’t hold their value so don’t be silly and go full retail. But you know what? I don’t sell my bags. Chances are I’m going to have that bag for quite a few years, hopefully, so who cares if it doesn’t hold value. For me, it will. I don’t know for sure what bag it will be, but this year it will be!😊 deep down you know what bag is calling to you. If it’s the alligator, go for it. I love the cargo too, but don’t settle even a little bit or you will still chase the other one. Whispering to you though if you want both, get both. ❤️

You can always get the Cargo later on second hand or even new later on, if it is still available then. I feel for you because life is always full of horrid choices and this is one of them for you, but there is a solution. If the budget will not stretch to both immediately, get the exotic now and save diligently to get the Cargo new if you can or second hand. I care! Thank you for the video!
