Were these the same as BBC Newsroom South East in 1989?.
Nope, on Monday 4th October 1999. David lowe creates the music and the titles for the BBC Regional services for instance:- the news in london and the south east newsroom South East(Formerly South East Today) and the news across the south west (BBC Spotlight) these are my favourites over the last 20 years!
Cheers for that information, I have recalled the same music being used here in London for regional news output, but hadn’t got a year, however, from my research, found out that there was a Regions branding in 2002.

Midlands Today merge with Points West
North West Today/Tonight merge with Wales Today
Reporting Scotland merge with Look North (North East)
Look East merge with Look East (West Anglia).
Look North (Yorkshire) merge with Look East (East Yorkshire).
BBC Channel Islands News merge with East Midlands Today
BBC London merge with BBC South East Today
BBC Newsline merge with Spotlight (South West).
South Today (Oxford/Southampton) merge to make 1 region.
What happened when all the BBC Regional services create the new look, new information, new opening titles, new music and new graphics in reith font six months ago since 15th July 2019? It is fantastic.
These news titles from the bbc regional services are looking alright than today.

I am looking forward to see the reboot of the 1999 bbc news titles including international national and regional services!

@@cgbgaming9363 Well, on 10th May 1999 the BBC NEWS made a major rebrand. The new studio and the new opening titles and music by david lowe. I can't wait to see the reboot soon!
