I'm buying a Yamaha MT-03 in a few weeks. Already have my license, Class CM in Texas. So, literally it is just go buy the bike, get insurance and ride it to the Title Office to get it tagged. I'm excited.
Congrats on the new bike. Good starting cc until you get familiar with riding. I'd suggest finding an empty parking lot and work on tight turns and figure eights.

Let's talk about price, this guy said he paid 7,100 $ out the door for the MT-03. I think it's a ridiculous price from a msrp of 4599 $. In Michigan sales tax is 6%, that makes 276 $, title fee 15$. That's roughly 4,900 $. A transportation charge of 350$, that's 5,250 $. What else would pay to get to 7,100?
Import fee from a new bike is $850, and assembly is $900. Bike was brand new from Japan and had to be built on American grounds. Sadly there’s no way around those fees in the state of Florida 🤷🏻♂️

I have this bike. Modded up. I can hit 100mph 5th gear. And 115mph max 6th gear. Which for a 300cc isn't bad at all. 600cc bikes hit 130-140mph. So this bike will keep up with 600cc bikes not too far off.

@@Voltomess not true you can take it to any dealership for service but I did my first service myself. However most dealerships offer first service free with purchase of a bike

I love the storm gray with the orange accents, I was looking at rc390s and Duke 390s because I love the orange wheels but I fell in love with this gray when I saw it. I feel as if white it too plain. Plus this is the only one they had at the dealership

Mirrors were on back order lol. Break in period was 500 miles below 5500rpm
