Yeah it's a great area! The last KM of the trail is very unique; 8 feet wide x 9 feet deep ish. It's definitely a bit weird going "underground"; the Lake is super cool. As with most adventures this year, the blanket of smoke ruined how picturesque Brule actually is; it's usually quite stunning.

Thanks! It’s my favorite trip so far; such a unique place. The wildfire smoke took away from how scenic this spot is.
