I keep forgetting that Dr Manhattan was goofball Billy Crudup..he would be best served just keeping his weight gain and muscle that he did for this film instead of being the long haired skinny goof that he usually is. It's like this shows you who you can be so quit billing Billy crudup and start being more like this character

The final result is outstanding. Snyder doesn't get enough credit for his work. Lindelof just painted a guy blue and he had HBO backing him wtf
But in TV series Dr. Manhattan in some scenes was fully CGI character. And in some other just a blue painted guy.
I swear if the film had a bit less nudity the critics would have to stfu.. but again the HBO one looks so crappy it doesn't matter lol

Amazing technology and often overlooked when trying to make it look real. Cgi is made to enhance not to replace when making things come to life.
I would like them to have talked a little more about the performance. The choice to give him a soft spoken level tone was inspired.
