You pretty much have to know the exact timing for each enemy and weapon. It's pretty unforgiving, but if you can master it, nothing stands a chance against you.
@@thothheartmaat2833prob because you actually have to time it in this game and only get around 10 parry frames in this game as opposed to like the 30 god of war gives you. Also linearity of attacks and delayed attacks make a big difference
Bro fr. I died to that red-eyed blue cape wearing ass knight near Emma in Lothric probably 8 times. I talked so much shit when I finally killed him. Beat Vordt first try no summon (I forgot to activate it). Seems like, as with Elden ring, I'm going to struggle with mini-bosses/beefy enemies more than actual bosses.
The sword master guy took me a few tries, but I was proud of myself when I beat him I enjoy fighting enemies like that more than big ass monstrosities😂

i was decent at parrying in elden ring even with a medium shield.. its so dam hard to time though.. i think you have to hit it when their hand is fully raised.. other people say when their arm is swinging forward but thats so not true and youll miss it so bad.. the same is true for sekiro too.. its absolutely not when their arm is swinging toward you.. thats way too late..

Whenever u get the chance to get behind an enemy hold ur block button and then press light attack, exact same thing to stab them thru the gut but I must parry first
