Wagobox-Light Junction Box

The Wagobox-Light is a BS-EN60670-22 Certified Electrical Junction Box designed to be used with the Wago 224-101 and 224-112 terminals. Unlike other junction boxes the Wagobox-Light terminals are not fixed inside the box but are fitted into the box after the cables have been connected together. This makes the Wagobox-Light very easy and quick to fit as well as being flexible in terms of both the size and number of cables and terminals it can accomodate.

Can i use ordinary WAGO 221 terminal instead?

You could use 221 connectors but you would need to arrange them carefully as they are a single side entry connector. The Wagobox-light works best with through connectors. I would suggest the Wagobox ( ruclips.net/video/xOZDLhRyE9c/видео.html ) is a much better enclosure to use with single side entry connectors.

At least according to your website this is not MF, which kind-of limits the utility. It also seems relatively inflexible on cable types/numbers.
The Wagbox 221-4 seems to be a far better product to me.

Hi Peter, thank you for your comments.
The Wagobox-Light is the only one of our enclosures (other than our IP68 Capsule) that isn't BS 5733 Maintenance Free. This is because 99% of the time the Wagobox Light is used for accessible installations such as spot lights, and its compact dimensions (39 x 29x 95 mm) make it perfect for fitting through a 60mm diameter spot light hole!
The Wagobox Light can be configured as you desire and supports up to 3 cables (the integrated cable clamp can secure flex and 6242Y and 6243Y twin and earth cables). It comes with robust cable grippers that can be configured in seconds to grip the cables (up to 8mm in diameter) and is designed for use with Wago 224, 260 and 291 terminal blocks to suit the job.
