Congrats on the anniversary! Having started viewing your channel in the last six months, the choices were new to me. I was pleased to see my signature scent included! Apres l'Ondee. I find it meditative rather melancholic. I love how perfume is so subjective. Your comment raising even the possibility of it being discontinued alarmed me. I would join you in the campaign to prevent that! The only reference I have encountered was in BBC series of Mitford's Love in a Cold Climate where one of the characters was wearing Apres l'Ondee and it was commented upon.

I saw the BBC remake of Love in a Cold Climate. I heard the ref to Apres L'Ondee. One of the best scenes uses the T Rex song, Dandy from the Underworld. It's an exciting dance number. Film magic!

@@clarezimberlin8729 Not enough mentions of perfume in film IMO! Is Apres l'Ondee something you wear? I'll be forever grateful to the sales assistant who years ago recommended it (when I told him I was wearing L'Air du Temps and looking for something with the same spirit). While my tastes have changed (away from florals), I still wear AlO

Glad to have discovered your channel long after reading several of your blog posts. Fantastic content all around! Habit Rouge is indeed a stunner that never fails to impress. But Dior Homme is a true masterpiece in my eyes, and the “most me” fragrance in my collection. It always brings a smile to my face and represents an awakening for me; the gateway into this hobby of appreciating fragrance as art. A master class in contrasts-light/dark, masculine/feminine, sweet/bitter, clean/gourmand, etc. Had to purchase a backup bottle once I tried the 2020 reformulation.

Just joined your wonderful channel after stumbling on it randomly on You Tube. My brother and I are amateur perfume nuts (late bloomers to some degree). But it all started with a whiff of Chanel 19, Cinnabar and Beautiful from 3 ladies jumping into a taxi cab in the 80's (my brother was the driver). One of our absolute favourites is Geoff Beene's Grey Flannel - and we were delighted to find out years later Luca Turin called it a masterpiece! Best bang for the buck you will ever get and I happily wear it even being a girl. Have you ever done a review of this one? Keep up the great show!

    Hello Dariush,
I am by no means a fragrance expert but I have loved the smells of life from as long as I can remember and found your channel and blog whilst looking for a review of Editions De Parfums Frederic Malle Rose Et Cuir prior to making yet another perfume purchase.
After watching this video I rushed into my husband's fragrance collection to purloin his bottle of Chanel Antaeus. I've been wearing it for a couple of days now and I love it.
Although I am a very girly girl I have always been drawn to masculine scents and especially leathers and smoke. Now I find myself hunting down Swiss Arabian Mukhalat Malaki which may prove to be difficult as I live in Australia. I'll probably have to pay a king's ransom for it!
Thank you so much for your comprehensive reviews🙏🏻

I haven't tried Aoud Cuir d'Arabie, Mukhalat Malaki and the Tauer from your list. I'm surprised that TF Noir didn't make it to your list. If I had to do a top 10 personal list right now, it would be Kouros, tin can Rive Gauche pour Homme, Musc Ravageur, New York Intense, Invasion Barbare, Cuir Mauresque, Le 3me Homme de Caron, Egoiste, Puredistance M and Memoir Man.
