@@DMCarReviews because that switch next to the Transmission lever (in the video) was set to W. W/S are the options... S mode is Standard or "Summer", W is for Snow/Rain conditions aka "Winter" which makes the car take off in 2nd gear instead of 1st to limit tire slippage for safety
When you drive this era MB check the switch by the lever. If it’s in W like this car is it should be in S. W(Winter) starts in 2nd gear and isn’t a quick to respond to throttle inputs because that mode is for inclement weather low traction scenarios. S (Sport or Standard) starts off in 1st and is more responsive and eager to down shift. Maybe you can revisit this car with that adjustment. It’ll be much more entertaining to drive. And you won’t really have to use kick down so much to speed up/ pass.
I have the exact same car and it pushes a little closer to 6.2 0-60 but like whose counting 😅😅 It’s funny to hear the dash squeak just like mine does 🤣
This is my favourite car, mostly because of the body design. Must be 320 for sure, not 230 or lower. Maybe even AMG but I don't like all those fancy body details and a steering wheel. One thing I did not decide when I will finally buy it - manual or auto. Auto seems to be slow - what do you think? Not that I need something super fast, but it may be annoyingly slow in todays standards and ruin the experience. Also manuals are rear. All depend on how and where you are driving it... Another thing is that interior is quite squeaky, even that the car is very short. Thanks for the video, can't find many reviews about this model.
Those things are tanks.
The engine and transmission is godly. 8 quarts of oil is crazy
You had the transmission in W (Winter) mode... And it still pulled like that 0-60? That's insane 😎
Why was it in winter mode?

@@youngslyy4516 I had it in S when the acceleration run was performed
@@DMCarReviews Oh okay... No matter, nice video and nice car bro 👌
Can you please show the fuse box I have the exact same car and would love to know the correct set up 🙏🏽🙏🏽🇨🇱
I don't have the car anymore
Nice throwback!
Ahah yes! Only 46k miles.
@@DMCarReviews definitely rare too.

Hey! Glad you liked the video. The Auto was plenty quick in my opinion.
my manual 320 is more sporty in my opinion. Older Merc autos are not especially fast
also the gearin of the manual is plenty short which makes it challengingly beautiful to drive on curvy roads
@@noahfeer7375 I'm so jealous! Thank you for sharing your experience.
I have a manual slk320 as well that I daily, and it’s one the most pleasant non problematic Mercedes to drive in my opinion, most underrated;)
Is this car Really worth it because I'am thinking about getting one? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great ride!
Nice. I hope the fad of tablets bolted into and onto the dash go away, and we get a return to analogue gauges.
should I buy as a daily?
Why not!
I know the 200/230 the engines are very stable. the 320 certainly too. the vehicles are good daily cars
I have SLK320 2001 from 11 years i use it as daily drive i am very sad because i sell it
I was wondering would 6”2 man be able to fit in it?
@@matimato6615 dont feel sad. there is many out there and still very cheap
I own almost the same car just I got 61k miles on it
I’ve got the 32amg, it’s a tad quicker.
