I love these pencils I got them for Christmas, I tested them out on Strathmore tone tanned paper, turned out gorgeous, il have to colour a page with them from this book, I also adore this book 💗

I love the color combos, I really struggle using pastel palettes, so I’m taking notes 😍 I actually had not seen the opposite colors work so well, maybe more pencil companies will follow and provide such a clever tool! And the names are so pretty.

This is absolutely beautiful! It has such a wonderful vintage feel to it ❤️ I have this set and have colored a picture with it already, but can't wait to start on another one after seeing you use them so masterfully! And yes the blending of the green and purple was new for me too, and I immediately went and got my booklet out of the tin and started studying it 😊

i also love these pencils. Beautiful soft colours. I also just bought the Brutfuner Macron set of 50 that was released late December. They are coming from Alliexpress. As far as I know they are not on Amazon yet. Your Fairy page is looking lovely. It is neat when you blend pencils that make a totally different colour. So I understand your excitment.

I'd do a self Swatch of what they have on the leaflet that shows you the overlaying. I've never tested the laying over colours before myself. I love how your excited about finding something new. Also in theory you have more the 48 colours with the overlaying
I am glad I am not the only one that gets excited about colouring pencils. My friends think I am mad has a box of frogs when I get new pencils. So you are not on your own xxx

If so, thanks so much for trying it out~ You sound as excited about that technique as I was when I first learned about it! Also, that color chart that came with those gorgeous pencils is fantastic! I think you've convinced me to get a set😻~ In case this helps, I'd love to do a color along with the newest Colouring Heaven & the Ouhu pastel markers (I'm in the U.S. though, so it may be a while till I receive my copy🙃 but I can always watch the color along ). This has been a throughly enjoyable video... I never knew you could blend pastle colours ... I might just have to get the pencils to colour along with you and just to get the colour chart lol looking forward to seeing part two. I color with complementary shadows quite a bit.. and I find a lighter shade than the main color works best.. it's so much more natural in the end than grey or brown. But I would have gone for a pink under green instead of the purple they suggested. Purple is fab under yellow.
Hi Marlene I usually use watercolours or acrylic paint that has been watered down as this changes the texture of the paper and gives it more tooth. I hope that helps you x x x x
