At $35,000 a month, she is ALREADY doing $420,000 per annum. Her initial ask of $80,000 for 20% was more than generous. I hate how these "sharks" want to rip off a 20 year old. Hope Briella learns an important business lesson of the art of negotiation.

That isn’t profit. And with constant fashion trend changes. Not to mention the Australian shut down. She has way over valued her business. Especially when there have been no dances or parties in over a year. This business was destined to fail with Covid. Sorry you idea was based on rough numbers and Projections. And you have been proven wrong
It happened to my dad only his brothers were the sharks. They took all the profit and then closed up the business and bought the land from my dad. They built a five story building on the land and earned 5 times as much from renting the entire building to 5 big companies. Then my dad set up a new place with very little money but this time he only had one employee who didn't do anything. My mom did all the back breaking work and us kids did the promotion and the business grew. Start small and stay small until u get a great profit and then invest on employees. We took pay cuts to pay for the one employee that we had. I remember how I would sacrifice my daily cup of tea so we could pay for a useless employee. But had we taken too many employees they would run the business to the ground.
The business model is not unique and could easily be recreated so there is not a lot of value in this idea.

This is one of the worst shark tank shows ever, it’s really, really boring, especially the two guys sitting on the outside, mostly the one with glasses!
If she joins the sharks she will get ripped off. They act like they r charmed by her but they will get their money and run. She has a better chance of doing it herself with her family because once she gets employees too early it will b a loss in the long run. Once she has got the logistics sorted then she can come back to the sharks. Sad that they r scamming a 20yr old. She should ditch them but take their advice on the warehouse and dry cleaning. She needs to get a small space for storage and dry cleaning and work on her own with her family's help. Once she has proper growth she can get a shark involved. Although by then she wouldn't need a shark.
