    I've had plans to run my guitar through the Monologue for quite some time; this helpful video gives me a good starting point.

    Oh man...great walkthrough. Only thing I missed was you cranking the resonance up on the filter and playing with LFO time to get a mad WAH effect 👌

    On Minilogue you could also use built-in delay effect and high pass filter. Otherwise line input on something like Monologue and Minilogue is best used with another synthesizer connected via MIDI. If you would connect eg. Volca Keys (read: simple 3 voice paraphonic synth) you could get kinda 3 voice polyphony - which isn't really but it is much harder to pick out you don't have real polyphony when you can do rudimentary chords. Also in this case voice from additional synth can use its own filter, LFO and resonance. One of the effects I like is to use some filtering and make decay shorter than on main synth - that way we get this richer sound the moment keys are pressed. Lots of combinations to try with additional synth.

    3:30 its tremolo, not vibrato (tremolo - volume modualtion, vibrato - pitch modulation), but overall a good video!

    Thank you Ryan for this really nice video. I have a Korg minilogue and was thinking of bying a very expensive synth pedal for my guitar rig. Now I am wondering if I should use the Korg to process the guitar sound instead. Does the Minilogue work the same way?

    • @RYANMAKESBEATS
      @RYANMAKESBEATS  2 года назад

      Thank you for watching! I am pretty sure that the minilogue works the same way, however I have not done it myself. Appreciate you!

    This seems like a lot of work to essentially get the same result as a few pedals and an amp.
