Duuuuude, I never even thought of changing tunings while a sequence was running! I figured im not musically knowledgeable enough to even mess with that part, but that's awesome!
In truth I didn't even think about that part of the synth either until reading through the Aphex - Tatsuya article. Seams cool though, after all nothing in the real world is precisely in tune and intonated.
Seems like people don’t bother to read about what they own. What a sad fucking world. Most people can’t be bothered to learn functions on their phone?!!
Excellent stuff, thanks. I’m only hours into ownership but it all makes reasonable sense ~ until micro tuning 🤯 I’ll leave that for a while before tinkering there!
Is worth get the monologue or keep the monotribe and buy the arturia keystep secuencer? Really thanks, that osciloscope is beautiful, the microtuning seems good and lot more, the sound of monotribe is wild. The monologue only 16 steps.
I had this thing for a few years now and never played with the microtuning. thanks for explaining, ill try experimenting with it. i love this synth
I also bought mine a few years back, in making the video I found a fair few features on it I never knew about!

@@JackPeloquin dude, calm down.
Not only an overview, this is the best tutorial i have seen. Squelchy balls Bonzo.
Acidic squelch
Review with autopsy of patient! The best on RUclips :)
@@edm3633 thanks, much appreciated
Thank you so much for this video learned a bunch of new things.
Also the humor lol.
But on a serious not please do a dive into the software u mentioned in the last 2 mins of the video. Like what the fuck is scarlet
@@1075Marijavera Hey yeah, not a bad shout, Scala is software for creating weird scales and tunings - www.huygens-fokker.org/scala/
I bought one last month. I can sit there for hours using in and really I’ve only scratched the surface.
Buying a Minilogue next week! ✝️🤘🏻
Plenty of innovative features on the Minilogue too!
Great description and funny stuff
Appreciated, thanks!
Cool vid, fun to watch
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
This is great!!
Cheers!
Awesome stuff. Creepily had put kettle on right on cue...now off to sniff my synths
@@Farold_Haltermeyer haha brilliant
You explain things so well and I'm LMAO TOO
Thanks! Kind words and good to hear it makes sense!

👍 Thank you!

I like how they left the dial markers free for you to personalize with your own choice(s) of glow-in-the-dark nail polish .
...and the threaded switches let you adorn them with customized threaded knobs.
Very Nice!
cheers!
Sound Aphex Like Twin
Haha, should prob read 'bait click like thumbnail'
Damn was about to make that comment...
I have one. The only bad thing I can say about it: that the simple, yet effective sequencer has only 16 steps^^
Thanks good video and awesome songs, been jamming Aphex Twin since 2003. I have a roland TD-3 behringer but wanna up my game
Cheers!

крутой видос!
9:06 I thought ring mod was AM synthesis.
Yo!
The filter definitely isn't the same as the MS20, the Monotribe and Monotribes have the same filter as the MS20 but the Monologue and Minilogue don't.
@@rexterrocks yep it's a 2 pole filter opposed to the 4 pole on the ms20
@@bonzomusikms20 is 2 pole 100%
But can it sound like a Bassoon?
No, it can do a Baboon or Basonet, but not a Bassoon.
I just got one. So far my biggest complaint is it doesn't sit flat. Maybe if I disassemble it, I can fix that.
How so? Mine sits flat.
@@Reprobus3 The four feet didn't sit flat on a flat surface. It seemed OK after a bit of pressure. Not a problem.
