Thank you for teaching me another new thing I can try. Liked the music, too.
good to hear you liked the music Neesr, a great product with a long shelf life that can be reused until heated … cheers … Nick
Well now this over-comes some obstacles to original designs. You are the Bestest
good to hear it will help your designs … fab product very versatile even craveable after hardening … have fun … Cheers Nick
I’m not that great at wax carving so glad to have an easier option now, thank you.
Hi Nikolove, a very forgiving product to play with … makes life a lot easier than carving with wax … N
Wow different design. Beautiful 😍
thanks for that lovein jeweler, first time I’ve tried gold keum-boo gives a new dimension to silver. shame I forgot to press record when I applied it … maybe next time … N
Fantastic design and execution! 💙
Thanks for that Kera, it came out a bit rustic … but hey that’s half expected with Delft Clay casting … N
Copper Bracelet ka rate kya hai sir
Hi Bᴜʟʟᴇᴛ ʀᴀᴊᴀ, I don’t sell stuff but a copper bracelets sell for about £10 here in the UK … N
I am awe struck!
Thanks Heather, it was supposed to be a video about Keum-Boo but lost the crucial clip … so ended up being another casting vid … N
beautiful!!!
Thanks jsl … N
What is that gold color??? I made one well it was a Daisy and it turned out really pretty and I set a Amber in the middle of the daisy and I gave it to my daughter for Mother’s Day.
Yours is just as pretty ❤❤❤❤
Michelle
Hi Michelle, the gold colour is Keum-boo, a technique for applying gold foil to silver. It’s a process i’ve been learning at an evening class I attend. It was originally going to be set with Amber as a sun pendant but the teacher suggested turquoise so I went with that. I was also meant to film the gold process but managed to get distracted and forget … N
@@Nickscreativestuff well, that’s what I thought, but I don’t remember you using the kuem-boo technique. Anyway, I love the video.
The whole video was supposed to be about learning keum-boo at jewellery school. However when it came to the crucial moment I forgot to press record. Rather than discarding all the previously recorded processes I had to re-edit my video into being about model making.
i’ll have to put the keum-boo back on the to do list for another time … cheers … Nick
@@Nickscreativestuff i’ve done the same thing thought I was recording, and I realized, I was just talking to myself. lol 😂
well I wouldn’t get caught out with that … I don’t like the sound of my own voice … 🫢 … N
Thanks!
When you cast the piece what is the advantage or purpose of the 4 prongs, you cut off.?
Really appreciate that Rippy, it all adds up to potentially being a small income working from home now that I’ve had to give up work due to care demands … thanks for your support … Nick
because the model was quite thin I added 4 air vents to the cavity this allows the air to escape rapidly allowing the cavity to fill quickly before giving it a chance to solidify. as the cavity fills the silver overflows into the air vents creating the prongs that are cut off and recycled for another project … hope this makes sense … N
@@Nickscreativestuff yes it makes alot of sense, also I was thinking it would be a great way to have prongs if u need them lol 😂
Delft Clay can be a bit hit and miss sometimes with unexpected rustic results. i’ve not done much stone setting being so precise and refined. I have seen people achieve stone set castings, looks great when it works only achievable with heat resistant stones … N
