I run a tech startup and graduated from one of the top 5 B-Schools in India, if that's what you're asking. And if I have learnt anything in my career, it's that data pierces through anecdotes. I don't care if your firm is unable to find people, that doesn't change the fact that 45% of our youth is unemployed. In fact, the very reason why you are unable to find these people is because most unemployed youth do not have the skill set to get a job, hence proving my point.
This data was published by our govt. itself. So, if you have a good counter without personally attacking me, I'll be all ears.

Last financial year figures are out and the economy grew at 8.2%. It surpassed even the RBI estimate if 8%.
@@nitinpatel1039 An 8% economy is actually pretty bad for a country like India. You blame Congress all the time and yet Manmohan Singh's tenure gave an average 7-8% growth rate during his tenure. At best Modiji is dragging us at the same rate.
During similar demographics as India, China was clocking at over 20%. I don't remember the exact rate, but economists had predicted that to become a medium income economy, India needs 20+% growth rate year on year.
India will rise 7-8% even if govt. doesn't do anything great being a huge population we are.
Besides, GDP is a terrible way to judge a country. By that logic we are doing better than Sweden, are we?
GDP per capita, education system and employment rate are a better metric of how well off the population of a country is. We are doing terrible on all of these metrics.

1. The real takeaway of this election campaigning is Amit Shah emerging as clear alternative to Modi, should Modi decide to call it a day after 2029. Rest are all immaterial. e.g. That Modi will return is a foregone conclusion and he rightfully deserves to return too. By how much majority is a major of detail.
Nobody gives it away in politics. Least of all someone as successful and ambitious as Modi.
He is fit and robust, he’ll be the central pole in Indian politics for at least the next 10 years certainly. 10 years from now he’ll be Biden’s age. He’ll be the BJP face till he is healthy. Age won’t be applied to him.
If someone is more visible in Modi's era, it means that person is definitely not the candidate. And if rumors are correct, Amit Shah wants to become Gujarat CM. He is not particularly interested in Delhi.

The election schedule has become longer because of more booths to address the increase in population. Since there are more booths, you need more security forces. I don't think the latter have grown in the same proportion.

The Election Commission is in charge during the elections, and they like their power. They feel important during this time. They want to extend the election season as long as possible. The next election may be even longer.

The Print was conspicuously absent from speculating the voting patterns or the exit poll. You just spoke of statistics from 2014 or 19 in CTC’s and some irrelevant interviews with candidates across parties.
So what happened? Is there an issue from 2019?
Bias and wrong predictions in 2014/19 due to bad company of Pranoy Roy has damaged reputation of Shekhar Gupta. Hence he has been quite and far away from predicting elections this time.

44 days is indeed tiringly long, but I'm not sure why you see a paradox between cleaner elections and longer, less "efficient" elections -- perhaps the longer elections allow for better management and security allocation to ensure cleaner elections. 44 days can be tiresome for the poor media personnel who must keep talking about them throughout, and the poor audience who likes to track every small electoral development (like myself), but is otherwise a small price to pay if it indeed helps conduct cleaner, freer and fairer elections.
Exactly, the population has increased, so should the days considering that one would want a ratio of security personnel to voters to be maintained !
This election was longer just to give Modi ji more time to campaign.
With age he could not have done that much intensive campaigning as he has done in 2024 or 2019.
Also he knew that only the BJP had that much resources to sustain for the long election.
However, this can go against him as opposition controlled the narrative this time.

@@karthikeyannataraj3786 Khata khat is an onomatopoeia for saying very fast or quickly. When RaGa made that statement, he was trying to exaggerate how much money he would hand out and the speed too. It ended up looking like he was trying to buy poor voters by promising them free cash and that too unrealistically as the amount of money he promised to give was in the lakhs.
MODI gave multiple "INTERVIEWS"..and there was nothing important to highlight in most of them....YEAH OLD MAN...except 1 little statement..that he was sent by god himself 😂😂😂..PM should have followed the script in his interviews

Whoever slipped in Gaffe-free Rahul into the headline must be chuckling all the way home. Who would he (or she) be chuckling at? Really difficult to take a guess! It is like saying, without saying explicitly, it was expected that expected Rahul cannot stay gaffe-free through the entire long election campaign. But some people may disagree with being entirely gaffe free citing reference to that conducting X-ray of all assets.
But maybe there were enough and more gaffes from others in Rahul’s party.
The law and order situation has improved at elections as paramilitary central forces are deployed which causes long election period.
Political violence management is one of the main reasons for this longer election in my opinion

These days EC is trying to ensure that there is less political violence during elections. Some state like WB is notorious for political violence. Which may be the reason why election was spread over 44 days. It takes time for the paramilitary forces to move from 1 location to another and hold their ground.
The other reason could be to minimize the impact on exam schedules. Many exams take place during this period (like IIT-JEE, NEET, even some 10th and 12th standard exams in some states etc).
Wish with all his experience Shekar ji should do a Cut the Clutter show to educate the current generation of youngsters if a government with a Strong leader (not just BJP but from any party with strong leader) is good or a coalition government is good for India. Majority of the hot take aways in this video was negative against one side. Felt it was not balanced.

It's unbelievable how much a family leader and some experts imagine things that can be classified as achievement.
