Thru your videos I've come to realise that a professional concert pianist is very much akin to a professional athlete, a very finely-tuned physical, emotional and mental human being who works intensely at bringing all those parts into unison at a specific moment in time, with the goal of bringing that perfect performance together, a performance that only exists in their mind until they create the reality.

    You are not boring.
Although you may say you show the same things over and over again, there is always something new that you present to us, even the little things you noticed in your journey like that birdsong sounds in toilets there and the fact that you stayed in a place where you had easy access to outstanding natural scenery. It's refreshing to see someone like you who's so keenly observant on stuff that many people simply overlook as part of the mundane. Also, showing your sensitivity to ever changing factors (e.g. jetlag) which affect how you play on various occasions highlights the human element with what you do. Keep it up.
Just have to note that your successive yawning from 9:03 made me drowsy from yawning too. 😆

Immersion in new and demanding repertoire, crises of confidence, solo travel, jet lag, keeping up with the fan base, and secrets, seems like that just goes with the territory of the path you have chosen, or just simply calls you. Still, it is always a pleasure to look in on your unique and sometimes quirky view of that path. You are exceptional Tiffany, you are able to spread that inexplicable feeling that belongs only to music. Before I stumbled upon you on You Tube I thought the romantic piano repertoire could not interest me, thank you for clearing up that misunderstanding…glad to hear that the Finland concert was ultimately fun and loved that white blouse…be kind, keep striving.

Although you have always been a first class artist I now hear a maturity in your playing that I generally only hear in much older musicians, by which I mean the quality of musicians who seem to have superior careers. I think that what I might be hearing in your playing is that you seem to play with the assurance of a composer playing their own music. I hear the same thing in Yunchan Lim's playing. I never get the impression that you are playing for an audience, it's more as though you are playing for yourself and have the technical freedom to be swept away by the music and not be aware of the audience. I'm definitely not attempting to compliment you it's just that your sound has become so special that I felt compelled to make a comment about it.

I liked your Libestraum version, I listened after hearing on the radio today. I'd enjoy doing a violin/piano duet wherever in the world u r

I hope that you get invited to some concerts in Ireland (next door to UK). I also hope that RTE Lyric fm offer you an interview to introduce to an Irish audience.

As Glenn Gould once said, "performance is a blood sport", however, this point has been overemphasized IMO and most of the blood part takes place in the imagination of the performer. Sure an audience member might hear some mistakes here and there but that's not really what we remember from a concert, unless it was a hideous mistake. We remember the passion, technique and interpretation of the artist, and of course the glorious music. Sometimes performers are too hard on themselves and forget the loving gaze and appreciation that an audience gives you. Remember the love and the shared part of adoring the music. In the end that's the salient point. The music! Thanks for sharing your struggles as well as your triumphs.

That was an absolutely beautiful concert!😍 20:05 That person was sitting right next to me and I also found that constant movement a bit annoying, and yes, that's my head in those video clips of the concert😂

I always get second-hand stage fright with those. Sweaty palms almost like watching free solo climbing, like, no room for error...
