But what happens when you're okay with being alone, genuinely enjoy your own company, invest in yourself and your relationship with the Lord, and after 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years... That mindset will only lead to self-doubt, confusion, beating yourself up for wanting someone but "if I can just be okay with being alone, if I can just be content...." that is prosperity gospel by another name. God will give you x when you achieve y. No. God may give you x at any time of his choosing. All that he asks of us is that we love him and trust him. No hate, just be careful. @Holy-Rowlo88 I have felt this heavily these past couple of weeks, it sounds crazy but it is God's will for us to experience suffering because there's so many reasons why it's important. One analogy I like to use is exercise, when you're first starting to work out, it hurts like crazy and nothing feels good about it. But as you go through the fire, you build discipline and your body slowly becomes more fit. In the same way, it's not like God is sitting up there happy that we are crying and that there's kids out there w/ cancer. I 100% agree that those are horrible things, yet, even Jesus went through suffering and God used that to redeem us all. Ik its easy to see suffering from a negative lens, trust me, its not fun. But God has a plan for you in your suffering, He uses things for our good-that's Romans 8:28. Repent and read the Bible for yourself and see that God does not rejoice when you suffer, but He is with us and will give us the strength to keep on going, so that we may glorify Him and bless others when they are going through the same thing. At first I didn't understand, but I now believe that perhaps God has given me this chance to improve upon myself, to understand who I am, and to get closer to God. I recently led a discussion about this recently out of Matthew 22:36-40. Love God, love yourself, and love others. focusing on understanding a learning God's love everything else God's commands from us falls into place day by day. I married my first girlfriend after I started pursuing God and man....... that relationship gave me a lot of emotional pain but it gave me a contrast on what love ISN'T. Building a love life with God and myself is honestly a lot less challenging when someone is trying to mold me into someone they want me to be instead of loving me and accepting me as God does. Someone can't love you with the love of God if they are not loving themselves with that love! Build a love life with God and yourself if you're single, learn to be grateful for where you are and with what you have, stay in your lane with God because you DO NOT want to get caught up getting abused or abusing yourself for someone because you don't want to be alone. Being unequally yoked is not fun, try to take your time guys God bless!
I’m a widowed mom. My husband passed few months over three years ago while I was pregnant. I recently started dating and got my heartbroken. It did really feel like this last partner was sent by God. We both agreed on that. Neither of us very ready because of wounds of the past. I’m trying to connect with God from my heart to let go of this person and to be detached in a state of unconditional love where I fulfilled on my own. @Holy-Rowlo88 I have felt this heavily these past couple of weeks, it sounds crazy but it is God's will for us to experience suffering because there's so many reasons why it's important. One analogy I like to use is exercise, when you're first starting to work out, it hurts like crazy and nothing feels good about it. But as you go through the fire, you build discipline and your body slowly becomes more fit. In the same way, it's not like God is sitting up there happy that we are crying and that there's kids out there w/ cancer. I 100% agree that those are horrible things, yet, even Jesus went through suffering and God used that to redeem us all. Ik its easy to see suffering from a negative lens, trust me, its not fun. But God has a plan for you in your suffering, He uses things for our good-that's Romans 8:28. Repent and read the Bible for yourself and see that God does not rejoice when you suffer, but He is with us and will give us the strength to keep on going, so that we may glorify Him and bless others when they are going through the same thing. I am 16 right now. I feel like there is some kind subconscious pressure to be in love right , to find a partner, be in a relationship while your teenage years and apparently I’m a victim of it too. I have never been in a relationship, and even tho it may sound stupid, for me not finding love young seems kinda scary. But just maybe God is trying to show me, that there is no real pressure, and I need to focus on finding myself. After all being in a relationship is not everything. After my 3 year failed relationship I thought I’d never find love like that again despite the fact it wasn’t really love it was lust and I always wanted to understand what love truly is and it’s the way god loves us that’s what love truly is and if your a big opened minded person who reads the Bible you get a good summary on love and how you can build yourself into that same level of love god gives us , I needed this video since I kinda want someone but being isolated 12 months from my relationship really brought me closer to god and he changed how I think mentally spiritually and emotionally and molding me into someone who can properly love next time around and with the gift of discernment I’ll be able to find this love someday

I've been struggling with a pretty difficult situation where both the person I'm interested in and I are already so connected, but they're scared to take thst leap of faith with me. At first I didn't understand, but I now believe that perhaps God has given me this chance to improve upon myself, to understand who I am, and to get closer to God. The next time that we meet I hope to be as close to God as I've ever been, and if God wills it, to be the partner they rightfully deserve.

I recently led a discussion about this recently out of Matthew 22:36-40. Love God, love yourself, and love others. focusing on understanding a learning God's love everything else God's commands from us falls into place day by day.
I married my first girlfriend after I started pursuing God and man....... that relationship gave me a lot of emotional pain but it gave me a contrast on what love ISN'T.
Building a love life with God and myself is honestly a lot less challenging when someone is trying to mold me into someone they want me to be instead of loving me and accepting me as God does.
Someone can't love you with the love of God if they are not loving themselves with that love!
Build a love life with God and yourself if you're single, learn to be grateful for where you are and with what you have, stay in your lane with God because you DO NOT want to get caught up getting abused or abusing yourself for someone because you don't want to be alone.

I’m a widowed mom. My husband passed few months over three years ago while I was pregnant. I recently started dating and got my heartbroken. It did really feel like this last partner was sent by God. We both agreed on that. Neither of us very ready because of wounds of the past. I’m trying to connect with God from my heart to let go of this person and to be detached in a state of unconditional love where I fulfilled on my own.
