This song is basically the entire plot of persona 4.the real enemy is invisible and they have nothing (as in no real friends) but Yu Narukami has everything (as long as you max out the social links) but until the very end of the story (and in most of if not all 1st play throughs) you know nothing about the true killer.
That's a cool take. I always thought of it as written from the perspective of the victims trapped in the tv before anyone saves them. Especially since it plays every time you enter the tv world to go rescue someone.
Predictable Enigma could still be I mean the tv world as explained by Teddy is a manifestation of society’s sub conscious thoughts and the victims as well as the criminal’s thoughts could both be represented in the song
Spoiler: Honestly I was a little suspicious of adachi because his social link "Jester" was also a 0, which made me think he's either the killer or he's going to join your team later ....then I got spoiled by a thumbnail xd
For me the line “bro you got everything but you don’t know anything” means about how in the game you end up knowing everything abt the cases but don’t know who the perpetrator is. Deep stuff
I actually considered the line was from Adachi's side, saying that Yu has strong bonds, friendship and shit but he doesn't know anything about the world, which Adachi says a LOT of times.
@@lelouchvibritannia777 I've always thought of it as both sides Yu is telling Adachi he's gotten all the enjoyment he wanted from this case, but his views on the world are wrong. The Persona series is about the search for truth. Persona 3 is about the secrets of Tartarus, Persona 4 is about the truth of oneself, and Persona 5 is dragging the truths society conveniently forgets into the light.
This was the first song i wanted to look up before i had finished the game because it quickly got stuck in my head. It kind of pumped me up when i was planning my attack on whatever dungeon i was heading into.
I was watching a friend play that game on stream yesterday, and he went to get groceries so he left the stream up, so that song was going on for like 30 minutes on loop, and I couldn't get myself to turn it off or anything, it was just too good.

And this is why I can't believe they made P4 so goofy after the 1st game and borderline disney with P4 Dancing All Night. Lol the tone went off the rails after P4
