True, I cannot deny that..... however, after watching it so many times, I think we can make it better by fusion rather than loops We start it off simple, use the last one he used up till the shadow characters are finished....we then throw in a Igor scene along with all the darker scenes they put had Next we smooth into the second verse and do a character reveal, this will be the third one he used BUT slowed down just a bit in the name reveal, cause we're going to be putting them dancing in the corner of it, but we gonna make sure that Teddie is the last and Yu stays a mystery..... simply so we can expand the dancing in the corner so we go into his "head" We then just throw in all the Happy go lucky scenes that includes just them and right when the lyrics end we have a rewind of the diamond to use the last part as just the side characters Last but not least, we throw in the Yu reveal at the end (him dancing in the corner too) and finish it off with him throwing up his glasses and showing the shows name Take a bit of time and lots of editing but I think if done right this could be just as smooth and even better P.S. Don't say anything about me doing this myself, for one I have none of the equipment/programs I need for it let alone no idea of how to even do it......... Persona 5 was my first persona game into the series, and I held it in high regard as I thought it improved on many of the parts that old games didn’t have necessarily. But now that I have watched a play through of P4G, (as I don’t have a PS Vita) I feel like this game is better than P5 in terms of characters. Yes the P5 gang is unique in their own way, but I feel like P4 is better, mainly because of their dungeons and social links. The dungeon introduces you to their struggles, and the social links help define that character more, and helps you get more acquainted to them. I may not have played it, but P4 will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you P4. Edit: So people can shut up about it I'm poor! I get that it's on PC but I haven't the money to buy it nor the computer to run the game. I appreciate you all but seriously, stop.

What's funny about Naoto is that, before playing the game, I thought she was a girl because of the voice. Then I started playing, got to the part where Kanji shows up talking with Naoto and thought "oh, it's a boy? I actually like the opening of Persona 4 Golden. Imagine someone who played P4G thinking that it's just a dating sim and started dancing with the opening until he knew that it's a murder mystery town game lol
Sometimes I forget what makes Persona so special and what it does best that makes it stand out. It's easy to remember the things that make the game seem unoriginal and not that deep. A bunch of teenagers defeat a clearly Evil villain and then a clearly Evil God with the power of friendship and anime, and there is no need to doubt who the good guys are because the conflict is so black and white you don't need to talk about it, even if the villian wants to. From that perspective it's usually really bad. However, Persona isn't even about external conflict with the antagonist, it's about internal conflict the characters have themselves, it is ultimately a coming of age story where the heroes learn to understand themselves and gain confidence in their own abilities and true limitations. When I remember that the focus is on the characters and their internal conflict I remember why it is so relatable and impactful, and has a lot of depth of writing for anyone to dig into if you aren't looking for some grand in depth external conflict between good and evil.

What's funny about Naoto is that, before playing the game, I thought she was a girl because of the voice.
Then I started playing, got to the part where Kanji shows up talking with Naoto and thought "oh, it's a boy? My bad, I forget some anime boys just have low-pitched voices" (I never suspected she was just pretending)
Then I got to Naoto's dungeon, got the reveal that she is actually a girl and, by then, my brain became milkshake

I actually like the opening of Persona 4 Golden. Imagine someone who played P4G thinking that it's just a dating sim and started dancing with the opening until he knew that it's a murder mystery town game lol

I’d give anything to feel the way I did when I first played this game
Sometimes I forget what makes Persona so special and what it does best that makes it stand out.
It's easy to remember the things that make the game seem unoriginal and not that deep. A bunch of teenagers defeat a clearly Evil villain and then a clearly Evil God with the power of friendship and anime, and there is no need to doubt who the good guys are because the conflict is so black and white you don't need to talk about it, even if the villian wants to. From that perspective it's usually really bad.
However, Persona isn't even about external conflict with the antagonist, it's about internal conflict the characters have themselves, it is ultimately a coming of age story where the heroes learn to understand themselves and gain confidence in their own abilities and true limitations.
When I remember that the focus is on the characters and their internal conflict I remember why it is so relatable and impactful, and has a lot of depth of writing for anyone to dig into if you aren't looking for some grand in depth external conflict between good and evil.
Just downloaded it on steam can't wait to play it.

I was casually listening to this getting off the bus for school, and the tears started coming. I just finished this game for the first time a couple weeks ago and have been listening to the soundtrack since. Idk what I'm saying but this game is beautiful and very nostalgic for me already lol. It's weird how it wasn't triggered by the lyrics but simply the sound of the song that made emotions come out. Pretty nice
