This video started slow, what was the only one that actually helped me get the wheel on! The knee holding down the one side was my only option as I don't have a bench vise. It's still super difficult but the way I was trying before would have been impossible. Thank you! 👍🏻💪
Could you please make a video or give some details on how to replace the tube for the rear tire on mi 4 lite 2nd gen . I find it very difficult to disassemble the rear tire
I worked for Tire Kingdom as a service manager and one thing we did not do is use lubricants other than actual tire lubricant, others like wd40 can cause problems, i cant imagine that being any different for scooter tires
Hvor i Norge er du?? Har et punktert forhjul på el sparkesykkelen min og vet ikke hvordan det skal fikses selvom det vises her. Er ogs usikker på hvilket dekk skal bruker. Og vil ikke ødelegge motoren 😅
@@scooterWorldScooter oh ok, because I might have done mines for abit longer and the color strips ended up melting off the wheel abit but I still got it on, it was a pain in the butt because I used raw materials and tools to get that wheel on
Haha, I appreciate the humor! Changing solid tires can definitely feel like striking a deal with the devil sometimes, but it's all part of the fun, right? Thanks for watching!
Are you talking sense or do you have a problem with english? After that u need to put tire in hot water ? Like how, with the engine still attached to it ? If you are already making a RUclips video maybe you'd be well advised to be more clear !!!
I apologize, it seems I used a confusing expression. Putting the tire in hot water is usually done to facilitate mounting and increase its flexibility before attaching it to the rim. In that part of the video, I'm trying to emphasize that you should soak the tire in hot water for about 10 minutes before mounting it (without the rim).
@@scooterWorldScooter sounds a lot better 👍 Btw i think your last sentence was intended as "I'm trying to emphasize that you should soak the tire in hot water for about 10 minutes before mounting it (without the wheel/engine)."

You are welcome
Thank you so much! Your tips saved me a day worth of work
You are welcome
If you put it in boiling water for 10-15min the process is even faster and easier
Yes you are right but a bit dangerous
I put mine in the oven for a bit
That won't damage the rubber will it?
@@heuristiclynxnot at all. Rubber is cooked in vulcanization so placing it in a hot water will just make it bit stretchy
@@diyzona Thank you for clarifying!

It works very well. Thanks man🎉❤

It may be possible but I have changed many of tires have not gotten any problem

Is boiling the tire also safe too? Cuz my instructions say it
It is ok but not too long 5-10 min is OK.

I'm just afraid of uncrewing the front wheels cuz since it's really tightly screwed in there, im afraid I might strip it

What do you all do with the valve hole in the rim? Leave it open…?
I leave it open. But You can keep the valve also.
Thanks!
Use Dishwashing Liquid not WD40 and soften rubber in hot water 👍
@@poloconnor yes that works also
The screws detach and just make it to where the rim splits into two
nope. it just will allow you to pull the stator out, you will still have to wrangle the tire on.

It is WD-40 but You can use any lubricants

Grrrr i get mine on the rim the one side sits out and i cant get it centered
If you get in on the part of the tire centered the left is easy.
I still can't find the one where they boil it in water first.

i bet this rim is wrecked now. it will have paint chips and scratches all over the place, from the ground and the screwdriver...
@@miko007 Don't worry, there is no damage, dents, or scratches on the rim.

A tire and a rim are two different things dude…….
