@@BrianAddison94 I don't like, nor have I ever liked, Paramore enough to justify buying their albums on vinyl. I like "Brand New Eyes", but that's the only album of theirs I enjoy from front to back and I have it on CD. There also isn't any such thing as questionable taste, because taste is ENTIRELY SUBJECTIVE. Jon listens to some bands I don't like, but I cannot and will not say he has questionable taste for liking them. Why? Because his taste in music was shaped by different life experiences and people than mine was, so I can't argue that he's objectively wrong in liking what he likes. I think making such an argument is stupid.
@@BrianAddison94 While I don't like Katy Perry or most modern pop music, I don't think you can grasp what an opinion is. Cole's 100% right about subjective music tastes. Just because a music opinion doesn't align with yours DOES NOT make it bullshit in any way. P.S. There's no such thing as a bad taste in music.
I've only recently began collecting vinyl's and only have two at the moment, the Stranger Things soundtrack and Janis Joplin live. It'll take a while to build it up, as I also collect other things (books being most prolific) and have a limited budget, but that also makes it more exciting when I'm able to purchase a new one 😄

i really hope you eventually open the green day record. a lot of people have posted stuff about unopened vinyl eventually warping due to the shrink wrap being so tight. i believe there’s a bunch of youtube videos showcasing it.
"I had to order this from Europe!" I had to laugh at that statement. As a far of metal and goth, it's rare to come across anything I like that was pressed here in the US, so most of my purchases have to be shipped from Europe. the red and blue pressing of science fiction is not a want but a need
I’m not jealous that you have so many vinyls. I’m jealous that you have so many limited edition color vinyls! A majority of mine are boring black ones.
Been waiting for this! Just recently started my vinyl collection and your videos are a big reason that I did so!
i have about 8 records and ive been collecting since the beginning of 2019. idk if 12 years old is a little early for vinyl collecting but i dont care.
Same time for me
Great to see a young buck stoked about vinyl. I'd be interested to see where you're at with it in five years. Hope you will still be sharing then. Thanks for the video.
i am pleased by the amount of weezer
Amazing collection!
IM SO GLAD YOU MADE THIS I started my record collection in December, I don’t have that much, but you’ve also inspired me to collect more and branch out, thanks Jon!
10/10 thumbnail
Thanks
(Don’t kill me I’m not a toxic fan)
But my favorite Vinyl I own is an original copy of Regional at best by twenty one pilots because it’s one that was an original one and they don’t make those anymore and you can’t find them anywhere
My collection is growing slowly but surely. My favourites are probably:
. A blood splatter pressing of The Silver Scream by Ice Nine Kills
. A red and white splatter pressing of Infamous by Motionless In White
. A black, red and white triad pressing of In Love and Death by The Used
. A picture disk of Into The Cave We Wander by Gerard Way (which came with a DC Young Animal poster, which I then got signed by all the main artists and writers, including Gerard at a con later in the year)
Me: Saw trench, Pink Floyd and Green Day
Also me: automatically clicks on the vid
I love Basement it’s cool to find someone else who likes them too
You should buy Kid A on vinyl. It's my favorite Radiohead album.
If you don’t have any king gizzard and the lizard wizard I assume you have never heard them...give them a listen👍
Thank you so much for the recommendation. I really like their music now.

I don't like, nor have I ever liked, Paramore enough to justify buying their albums on vinyl.
Great video! And the editing is outstanding standing applaus for mrs. ARTV a.k.a.Hannah for the great work!
I edited this video 😅 but thank you! Hannah mainly only edits SOS & top 10’s but she always kills it with the thumbnails!
@@artvjon Damn Jon so You are a pro like Hannah now! Keep up the great work like always full CD collection now ;)?
@@MUSICKamil Hannah did the little intro montage, I failed to mention that oops. AKA the most professional part of the video lol. But yes I will hopefully do a CD collection soon!
@@artvjon Well I'm with AR and Beyond ARTV for a loooong now and it is noticable veryyyy, veryyy much how the video's thumbs and overall things evolved it's fantastic to see that :) You learned a lot from her ;) Best regards for You both from Poland :)
That smoke colored record looks awesome on your turntable 👌
Wow I love this video and the the editing is on point 👌❣
Oh man I find it funny just this week I purchased my first vinyl to hang on the wall. I think I'll get a player and look to pimp out my new apartment. They're so heckin cool. Sounds terrific. I can see how you get to this point of collecting so many :)
Pretty sweet, we are planning on doing a LIve Stream tomorrow to show off David's album collection!!
Wow,i like thr record case,so nice
i really hope you eventually open the green day record. a lot of people have posted stuff about unopened vinyl eventually warping due to the shrink wrap being so tight. i believe there’s a bunch of youtube videos showcasing it.
I opened it in 2020!!
"I had to order this from Europe!" I had to laugh at that statement. As a far of metal and goth, it's rare to come across anything I like that was pressed here in the US, so most of my purchases have to be shipped from Europe. Still though, that is a super solid collection! I know I'm 3 years behind and I am sure that your collection has vastly expanded since, but I just found your channel and I appreciate you sharing this with everyone.
Production and editing in this vid is superb.
Thank you.
I am a simple person, I see Green Day, I click
Holy shit that’s awesome man! I love that you have Car Seat Headrest on vinyl. Also Wasting Light is the best Foo Fighters album haha. P.S. I’m so glad you like Interpol
I’ve been collecting for a year and I have 50 records, I used to be very proud of that
Great collection! We have different taste it seems, but I definitely enjoy seeing other people's favorites! I just finished sharing my own collection on my channel. I made separate videos for my 80s, 90s, and 2000s/2010s stuff =)
This video made me realize that I NEED a lot more vinyls.
I love your collection!! I just added Welcome to the Black Parade and Bright Eyes' album I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning to my collection. I think my favorite albums that I have are Cavetown's Lemon Boy on green and yellow vinyl and Peach Pit's album Being So Normal.
From my local record store, I picked up a badass picture vinyl of Dookie with one side having young, early 90s Green Day on it and the other side images from the album cover. Definitely, one of my favorites among many others like Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced and my four Alkaline Trio records (Goddamnit, From Here to Infirmary, Good Mourning, Crimson, and Is This Thing Cursed).
My favorite vinyls I own are “Back to Black” by Amy Winehouse, “Sgt Pepper” by The Beatles (I own an original), a handful of Billy Joel albums, “Insomniac”/“American Idiot”/“21st Century Breakdown”/“Rev Radio” by Green Day, original pressing of “Star Wars Episode IV” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and 2”. The colored albums I have are Nothing More “The Stories We Tell Ourselves” on white and Michael Bublè “Christmas” in translucent red. I have picture disc version of MCR “The Black Parade”.
The plural of vinyl is vinyl
This whole video was so satisfying

@@BrianAddison94 I haven't voluntarily heard a Paramore album in my entire 20 years on this planet.
I don't have any bad feelings about the band but I just never felt particularly compelled to listen to an entire album of theirs.
You got Harry Styles vinyl. I'm gonna get my sister that vinyl for Christmas this year
these are some of my favorite videos from you
I want a record player so bad😭❤️
All of those MCR vinyl records I'm jealous.
👍 AWESOME collection & OUTSTANDING organization. However ... STRONGLY recommend you protect your collection with plastic outer sleeves. It will keep the album jackets looking NEW -- I have records I purchased over 40 years ago , sleeved them back then, and they are still as fresh / MINT as the day I brought'em home😉😉
You’ve got good taste in music, friend 👌🏼
I'm only just starting my vinyl collection because of my mom's collection. I've only got 2 (Dude ranch by blink 182 and Bullets By MCR) but I hope to have a collection as big as yours
Nice collection I have the gold box set of Shinedown 6 vinyl set. Original LAW, and other SD albums. My favorites are SD SOM Deluxe Edition only 500 world wide. STP box set. A7X special edition Nightmare, Motley Crew special edition and Billy Joel special edition.
