Your local Cheeto dust dealer I have heard there are folk who cannot catch the plague. One of my friends from my village actually had it-everyone in her family thought she was dead so they ran off. She woke up, delirious and so thirsty she drank a pitcher of reserved fat and legend has it that cured her.
The ironic part is that now that i have a good paying job (can actually put money aside *and* do fun things for the sake of it) i've been sewing and suddenly my wardrobe became...not vintage, but antique. My parents have called me out for looking like i stepped off the set of little house on the prarie or other historical shows. The first stays/corset i attempted made me look very scandinavian which garnered comments at the memorial day service i wore it to. Too bad we haven't been doing extended family holidays due to our current plague, otherwise i would be showing up looking pretty medieval, cloak and all.
