Hi Screen mirror should work nicely for you. Screen mirror is covered in the video at the 8:12 mark. This will only work if your TV or video streamer have Airplay.
@@rogergadgetguy hi thanks for responding, unfortunately our broadcaster “Sky Tv” must somehow encrypt the transmission, it won’t work. I even bought a USB to HDMI cable for a direct connection but that’s not supported either.
Hi The visibility of the Airplay symbol will depend on the podcast app that you are using rather than the podcast itself. You can try using a different podcast app or use screen mirroring.
It depends on the model and Age of the TV. Most TV's currently on the market have Apple's Airplay and will work as shown. Folr older TV's a video streamer with Airplay may be added. The Roku express is inexpensive and has Apple Airplay out of the Box
Your TV and phone have to have a good signal and both be on the same WiFi network check the WiFi settings on both . Some TV,s need to have Airplay turned on/ if you have any range extenders in your WiFi Network the device discovery may not work across network boundaries.
Airplay is an Apple exclusive feature built in to every iPhone and iPad since 2010. It allows for wireless streaming of video and Audio to Airplay compatible devices (including most recent TV's and receivers). Airplay works over WIFi between devices that are both logged in to the same wifi network.

Hi Ayan, Airplay may need to be enabled through the settings of your TV or video streaming device. The TV needs to be connected to the same wifi network as the phone, also, sometimes wifi bridges or range extenders prevent devices from seeing each other across those interfaces.

I’ve gone to that exact podcast 6:39 “Smartless” and there is zero airplay symbol for me.
I have airplay on, on my phone.
And set it up on my TV. 😢

Hi Robin, Although airplay will work with game apps I don't recommend it because the audio delay is very noticeable when gaming.
