....it is fabulous just listening to her talk, so charismatic. Ann Murray could talk about a garbage route and you’d be captivated. And not that long ago, just a few short years ago, her voice was as clean as the driven snow. Good vibes.
I have seen so many of my favorite artists do interviews, but Anne Murray has got to be the most balanced and intellectual. She always had the most careful answers and comments. Saying that having her children was the biggest thing that stood out in her career just moved me to a few tears. She always cared about her children and about being a proper mother; the best mother she could be. There was always the singer and musician in Anne Murray (as she could play guitar, learn and read music) but she stayed pure. -The songstress held it together when that womanizer Julio Iglesias was once out to try her on for size! I only wish that Barry Manilow (my favorite musician) paired up with Anne. THOSE two would have had a mega hit easily on a duet.
Barry is a class act and I could listen to him all day. Anne did an interview in Australia with Kerrie-Anne. It's on RUclips. Anne was so arrogant and condescending of other artists. Kerrie-Anne appeared dumbfounded by Anne Murray's comments. Kind of funny and had a sense of awkwardness.
Probably the most successful Canadian with over 4 decades of the music industry, numerous awards, and that special Canadian warmth that is just so contagious. Anne Murray is definitely a star, no doubt about it.

Though Anne Murray is 58 she still sing whole well rounded and her voice is addictive truly.
She is 75 now.
She always was the classiest of acts. I still love all of her recordings.
