Seriously it’s getting old listening to guys like Joey claim newcastle won the premiership in 1997, while ignoring brisbanes 1997 premiership. The best outcome for rugby league fans is if Brisbane wins. Teams tend to copy the previous years premiers style of play in order to become premiers. So if Brisbane wins. Next year everyone will play a more expansive offload and exploit style of attack while being physically violent in defence. If Penrith wins we will continue to see set plays and wrestling.

That works. The Panthers have pretty much the biggest and in recent years the most successful development program. If they didn't need to produce so many players to be farmed out to the other clubs to make them hopefully halfway decent the club could save some money.
