Lots of differences. This one is solid sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, and the CD-140SCE comes in either a spuce top with ovankol back and sides, or full mahogany top, back and sides. The Redondo also has a satin finish neck instead of gloss, which feels nicer and less sticky in the hand, different body shapes, headstock shapes, slightly different scale lengths.
I've recorded with a cutaway fender 15 yrs of playing on it. It out blew the sound of a. New 800 dollar Alvarez recorded live. The tone has that woodsy tone everyone likes. Sustain is ok...but man..after 15 yrs it rock so smoothly
Love mine but need much lighter strings and lower action. Getting that done soon, then it should play much better.
Cool vid. I’ve got this guitar and really dig it. Great neck and playability like u said 👍
Yeah I was very happy playing that guitar, the tuner option is awesome. Super fun and affordable. Thanks for the comment!
Thank you very much for this video ! Really helpful !
You're welcome!
Do you know how it is different from the CD-140SCE model?
