Your video is so inspiring and true ! Thanks for sharing and I'm looking for more videos from you. And everybody makes mistakes : as for myself, my worst experiences and worst comments were from people who totally messed around and really played like feet, so no worry. Good players never kick, never shout, never blame.
I understand your sentiment. People often speak without considering the impact of their words. I started playing WoW back in vanilla, completely clueless. Back then, there were no online guides. Once those became available, players began min-maxing, and the game turned competitive. I still remember doing Alterac Valley when a boss suddenly charged at me-I used "Feign Death." Another player saw that and cared enough to whisper "NAP" ("not a pro"-no idea if people still say that). That moment (maybe 15 years ago?) made me step away from group content almost completely. Even now, when my brother occasionally drags me into a dungeon, it makes me uneasy. And I only play DPS.
That sucks I’m sorry you had to experience that :( but just know you’re not alone, those people suck but luckily there are still so many wonderful people I came across in the game, they’re just a bit harder to find hehe but yes it’s exactly my reason for sticking to dps so I agree!
As a healer main myself, i would say healing is generally easier then tanking. You just follow ppl around and throw heals when they are low. Sure you are ALWAYS gonna get blamed for any mistakes from ANYONE but I guess you develop a think skin as a healer 🤣. And I would def recommend holy over discipline for a new healer, as discipline is very unique spec and the things you learn as disc priest don't carry on when learning to heal in other classes. Cant wait to invite you to the mythic 600 one day 😉
Very true, I’m just worried that if someone dies (even through their own mistake) that I did something wrong, it’s hard to explain but I’m so scared of making mistakes and getting shouted at 😭😭😭 defo need that thick skin cause mine is super thin atm LOL and YES WE WILL DO THE 600 MYTHIC ONE DAY!!!!!!
@aphrodicey yea, I understand, I won't lie, sometimes I feel it was my mistake too. If that affects me too much I just take a break from doing dungeons.
Every time people say overly toxic people I feel they must mean NA.. I play on EU and ofc there's toxic ppl too but it's very rare. Usually people are quiet and say nothing or very little in dungeons. I'm also a guide on the newcomers channel just to help new players. I wish more of us veterans did that because it's good for the game and community as a whole. Edit: I wanna also say that when you meet stupid people try not to get discouraged by them and try to enjoy and play as you like and you will meet the nice people too 👍🏻

Thank you honestly this means a lot 🥺 that’s also very true, good players will just teach you rather than call you out and kick !!

Everything you mentioned is why i only play dps. People are too toxic.
100% agreed, and I feel like I’m coming across more and more toxic people every day it sucks!

I preferred discipline priest
Have you tried final fantasy 14? The community is better and the story is miles better plus the free trial.
I have!!! I played it very briefly a few years ago and it was ok but I got annoyed at myself for not understanding it right away and gave up 😂😂
FFXIV has its share of toxic people.. They're just toxic in a different way. WoW and FF14 are two totally different games.
