Hello from America! I love watching grannys videos! It reminds me of when we go camping. We are only able to camp during certain times of the year here in New York. I love cooking over an open fire! Most Americans would not know what to do if the entire power grid went down. I know one thing for sure... My family would still be nicely fed just like yours. I dunno abt others but I'm an Indian and we peel the skin. I guess is has to do with the 'patience', some people find it a bit time consuming process to peel off the skin, so they just proceed with rinds on. But majority (as far as I have seen) they'll remove the garlic rinds(or skin whatever).

This rekindles a distinct memory of our usual laundry mat in Foster City that my family would go to. In that same plaza there was an Indian market that we’d stop by specifically for these delectables. Samosas will forever hold a special memory behind it for me. Like our car rides there, which at times would be so jam packed that my little sister or myself would have to sit any where we could find space. It was always the usual passengers.. mom, dad, Grandma Fa, my little sister and me. Or the laundry attendant , ‘Migo’ whom wed address him as, for quaters to load up the dryers. And I could never forget the tree near the entrance of the plaza that even as children wed play and run around enjoying the sun as wed wait idle between washing cycles. To think that something as simple as a Samosa would unleash such a wonderfully cherised memory, is something short of amazing. God Bless you all in Jesus name. 👑
