Boy Kills World is an insane new action/comedy. It definitely earns it's R rating with over-the-top violence and great choreographed fight scenes. There are definitely some cons though and I can see the lowbrow humor turning some off.

What a banger of a movie. Skarsgard's an animal in this. That final fight scene... Mad Dog rips. Loved it! 🤘
It was a fun, wacky time.
The ending twist & fight scene is what made the movie for me. Definitely adding it to my collection.
Haven't seen it but sounds like they were all in on the craziness. I can respect that.

I'd watch this movie but it is sad that it was only in theatres for 2 weeks here in Canada.... and apparently it flopped but they will go ahead and keep Challengers in theatre forever wtf..
Not everything needs to be for mainstream audiences. I absolutely LOVE over the top, schlocky action movies like: Shoot Em Up, Crank 1+2, Guns Akimbo, The Man With The Iron Fists, and Hardcore Henry. I am hoping that this movie fits in nicely with all of those titles!!
I fully agree. I'm just letting people know what to expect. If you don't like the movies you listed, odds are, you will hate this.

Granted, I may disagree with your opinion from time to time, but people shouldn't constantly agree about everything because the World would be a boring ass place. A lot of RUclipsrs have sold out, and I feel like you are one of the few who is still pure, and is just a regular dude who is doing something that he is passionate about. It sucks. This movie was a lot of fun and I’m gonna buy it when it comes out. I really enjoyed it.

Don't these celebrities realize that plastic surgery makes you uglier like 99.9% of the time? Apparently some people actually like that look, so I guess that's why they do it, but they pretty much always end up looking worse IMO (except for the ones who only get a tiny bit of work done that isn't really noticeable, I guess - or if they just fix a crooked tooth or something). I wonder how many of them secretly regret it.
@@barbara_briar No, not him lol. I was referring to the woman who played Jean Grey in X-Men. Adam brought up her plastic surgery at one point and mentioned how she looks much uglier now.
*Here's my advice:*
If you're into things like the John Wick films, Bullet Train, and Madness Combat (Webseries & Videogame), this movie is for you. If you like things with "stylized worldbuilding", such as Gunpowder Milkshake (Netflix Film) and The Umbrella Academy (Netflix Series), this is for you. The same goes if you like things that are thoughtful and or "quirky".
If you don't like any of the above though, this movie is not for you, unless you are looking to watch something that is new and interesting to you.
I was initially gonna wait for this one… then I saw Mad Dog on the poster, and the next thing I knew my butt was in a theater seat.
I didn't think it was that gory and Bill's fighting moves looked fluid to me. Loved the movie and I will watch it for a second time on Tuesday.
I didn't even realize it was Famke Jannsen was in this till I saw an interview cause wow wtf has she had done to herself?!?! She looks insane now. I will have to check this out but I'll wait to stream it
this movie used one of the actors (and I believe he was also the action choreographer) from the Raid 1&2. And it shows.
The evening after that I saw The Expendables 4 (which also features a Raid actor) and it was like night and day!
I love The Raid films!
They should just make a live action archer...better than James Bond.

I love this movie lol..but that final scene is reminiscent of the ending of The Raid. If you saw that movie you’ll get it lol

I get why you were annoyed by the sidekick, but if you’re ever in the mood for a great period action/martial arts drama, check out the show “Warrior,” which the actor stars in. He’s good in there and much different. The fights are among the best in TV/movies, and the show is easy to get into.

My issues: the particular voice for the voice-oher was annoying af & got old hella quick. The "villians" were so over-the-top goofy that they posed no threat & were too far removed from grounded to be interesting. I just couldn't get invested in any of the characters
That voice is H. Jon Benjamin dude. He's a legend in the world of animation with his performances in Archer, Bob's Burgers, Home Movies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and more. It's YOUR problem that you didn't like him, because he has millions of fans, and he is one of the reasons that I am so excited to watch the movie.
I honestly didn’t get some of the hate against the voice over. Yeah, the humor is admittedly pretty hit or miss, but the voice over itself worked with the style of the film in my opinion.

Just absolutely terrible.
Movie had a great premise IMO, superb voice over, fun, wacky killing.
Turned out to be a used diaper from a chili fed baby.
Just purely unbelievable action scenes, terrible acting and construct, massive plot holes, and basic failures and fight and gun mechanics.
"Shoot em' Up" with a heavy dose of meth and LSD, add a sprinkle of Turbo-Lax for effect.
I want my $5 Prime rental refunded.
Gee golly, why is the Hollywood industry failing so badly? Because you keep mass producing these conveyer belt turds and spend more money on advertising and paid shill reviews than you do on the movie production itself.
Honestly i really did not enjoy this movie and i think its because its trying to cater to mainstream audiences despite acting like it isnt its r rated but still feels pg13 theres not enough action not enough jokes its very boring and sharlto copely got robbed
