If kids stare and the parents do the “don’t look” things I just say “oh it’s a wheelchair, I have it because My body isn’t well and I can’t use my legs” then let them check out my chair and answer any questions- I’ve seen a lot of parents try not to look ashamed, like ASK US JUST TALK TO US... when I can occasionally get to my kids school or nursery I let the kids push me around and show them wheelies and how I do them and how to turn etc, they now think the only wheelchair parent for miles has a really cool wheelchair. This video is too good 🙌🏻
