Visited in 2017. Really enjoyed it. Went to Pagwa. Visited the dam near Brokopondo.. That bridge out there is scary.. Til this day, out of all the countries ive visited, Suriname has the best food!

Here in guyana we are having a modern airport and also a six story hotel and a 7 story Hyatt hotel two brand new modern hotels will be built by the new airport .construction have already started ,with the oil money guyana have been getting lately is really good for guyana development .
Edit and I'm pretty sure suriname will get great profit from her oil money.im hoping for the best for both countries.

The arrival area doesn’t look as bad as the departure area that really neeeds improvement looks really outdated
Actually the waiting lounge in the departure area is way way nicer now, I think the arrival lounge also is very nice, what needs improvement, is the entrance of the departure area and the exit of the arrival area.
LOL 😆 A bus terminal is better than this run down getto looking airport. 🤣
