Hi! First of all I want to tell you that I really like your videos. I started seeing them because of the VCP 97 review, I also use Yonex (Ezone). Too bad i don't understand anything about Czech to see your other channel. I look for tennis shoes that are light but not too low to the ground. I currently use it for HC: asics gel resolution 8 and babolat jet mach 3 and for CLAY: adidas solematch bounce. In the last 2 years of all I used, the ones I liked the most were the Mizuno wave exceed tour 4 (HC) and the worst were the Court Air Zoom GP Turbo which even caused my foot to inflate... I never bought Wilson because I didn't have a big opinion, but after your video I'll be more attentive to their models starting with the one you presented. Thank you so much! I wish you an excellent year 2022.
Thank you very much for your comprehensive comment and experience. It makes me happy if I see people enjoy my content and that I can be helpful. The shoes you've mentioned are really good, especially Gel Res 8 (Monfils, Swiatek) and SoleMatch Bounce (Tsitsipas). I'm really happy you've mentioned Mizuno's, because yesterday I've been adding to our Czech shop new versions Exceed Tour 5 and I can tell you, they look even better. The outsole remained the same, but the upper is slightly different with some minor changes to the back part of the shoe. They are 10 g lighter than version 4, which is incredible. I didn't try Air Zoom GP Turbo, but I'm not a fan of this super cushioned shoes with high midsole that can cause problems you've mentioned. I like low to the ground shoes or semi-low-to-the ground shoe's like these Wilsons. The're really good and if you liked the also very light Jet Mach 3, these can be your next choice. Friend of mine played in Jet Mach's 1+2 and I recommended him Wilson Kaos. Last time I met him, he told me they're fantastic and liked them even more then the Jet Mach's. So yes, Wilson is a top notch brand for tennis shoes, although I'm not a big fan of the other series like Rush Pro, which is too stiff for my style of play. Thanks for sharing your story with me and have a great year 2022!
i just picked up this shoe for hardcourt season will let you know how it goes! amazing fit and fast! it just got a bit hot yesterday it could use better ventilation. overall very satisfied :) i will try asics gel dedicate 7 and compare them. this shoe has a better fit for sure though especially in the back. thanks as always for your reviews. this one and vcore pro 97 so great.
Thanks for sharing your experience. To be honest, I keep coming back to these shoes even the outsole is worn out on my right shoe. I like the fit, comfort and overall super light design with great speed performance and stability. I bought Mizuno Exceed SL 2 CC for this season and I'm not as happy as with Wilson shoes. I plan to try the Wilson Kaos Rapide (www.tennis-point.cz/wilson-kaos-rapide-obuv-na-antuku-muzi-tmave-modra-bila-00715402465000.html) version with the quick lace system or maybe I just buy another Wilson Kaos Swift pair, because they feel so great. Keep coming back and sharing your experience.
@@CzechTennisGuy im in canada bro. i wish i could try mizuno and lotto but theyre short in supply here. i tried the gel dedicate 7 today. comfortable but the fit is not as great espeically in the heel of the shoe. i will try to lace lock the shoe to improve the fit. more comfortable than the wilsons though. the wilson are great but run a little bit tight. the quest for the perfect shoe continues haha. the wilson rapide look great. not many wilson shoes here in canada either though. mostly asics and nike
@@JnRGaming Expect my Mizuno Wave Exceed SL 2 CC shoe review very soon. If you like comfort, these are the shoes to go with. Superb padding and cushioning, lightweight, zero break in and classic design. Price is very good for these shoes, too.
@@CzechTennisGuy i just bought mizuno wave exceed tour 5! very excited to use soon. the heel is so high! im expecting a great fit. :) wave exeed SL seems to be super light shoe right?
Thank you. Well, not sure that there are any such watches/apps. Maybe you can give me some tips. I don't own any smartwatch at the moment. I used to have some Garmin watches but they're gone forever. At the moment I don't have time for this type of test anyway. Too many rackets in test and too little free time. Maybe sometime in the future.
@@CzechTennisGuy I use a Polar A360. It tracks heartrate and calories burned and provides feedback on workout. Looking for something more tennis specific. I am not an Apple guy but believe there are tennis apps that track number of shots, spin on ball, serves, ground strokes - analytical data that can be reviewed. I believe Wilson has a device you can pair with an app when the gadget (tennis butt cap) is on the racquet. I will look into it. Any reviews on new wilson prostaff? I use the 97LS. Love it but burn through lots of string. Reviews on best string reels for string breakers?
Oh yeah, you mean the sensors on butt caps. There are various of them from Wilson and Head. And also some third party gadgets. But I don't find them particular useful or important. Only a very small amount of people use this type of device and at the end, this will not help you to improve. It is just interesting. No info on new ProStaff. String reviews are not on my list now, because I don't have time for it, sorry. Thanks fo the comment.
Last xiaomi mi band has tennis training mode. It shows amounts of forhands, backhands and serves. Also it writes your heart rate. Played with it couple of times. Interesting, but not so much useful.
great shoes reviews! I am considering this or rush pro 4 for my first ever clay specific shoe. Watching both of your reviews are great!
I appreciate that!
